Nice to see the saga continued but seems similar to original which is not a bad thing, Certainly better then episodes 1-3 and captures the feel of the original trilogy. Worth watching and adding to your collection if a Star Wars fan.

I purchased this movie because I knew it would be great, I came to Best Buy because I knew that they would carry it. Great quality and love the options of blue ray and digital copy. Thank you Best Buy for carrying this movie!

Hardcore fans will like Episode 7. I didn't think it was that great. It mirrors Episode IV too closely. I'd almost consider this outing a reboot. Still a decent Star Wars movie. It could've been worse - JarJar could've been in it.

I guess if you are a Stars Wars fan you should see it just so you can say I've seen every Stars Wars ever made, but if you are one who really doesn't need spin off after spin off, then I would say just save your cash and rent it.

The movie was awesome but I'm disappointed that the studio didn't release the 3d version at the same time. I'm sure they'll just want me to spend more money down the line.

Having saw Episode 4 (1st movie out) in theater this particular sequel was fair overall but a contender especially if you thought Episode 1 and 2 were the worst of 7 out so far. Still worth watching if you're into Star Wars.

A very good remake of episode IV, "A New Hope". The extras that come with this set was, in some ways, better than the movie. Disney should have continued in George Lucas' vision, rather than taking episode IV and remaking it.

It was a good movie. Fun to watch. It is, however, much better if you're a Star Wars fan. You can still enjoy this movie if you haven't seen any of the other SW movies but you're much more likely to enjoy it if you have.

Well the good news is that the old Star Wars movies are back. The bad news is because they just copied the original and updated it. *** SPOILER ALERT!!! ******* Wait there's nothing to spoil. You've already seen this movie. Once again we have a droid that is on the run from the Empire.... I mean First Order, that has the secret to saving the Universe. Once again the rebels must attack and destroy the Death Star before it powers up and destroys their base. But hey its totally different because the Death Star is bigger this time, right? Lame. This movie is better than the prequel's but that's not saying much.

I thought I would indulge myself in a new movie and decided to get Episode VII. This version contains a metal case that looks pretty cool. However, the case was delivered slight dented. Other than that it's fine.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, even after 1-3. This movie even helps make up for most of what those movies did to the franchise. However, I would have loved to have seen MUCH more additions to this much anticipated blueray.

Story line appears contrived to maximize merchandising options. New characters are very undeveloped compared to vintage ones. Have a definite feeling that Harrison Ford is being set up for a Bobby Ewing experience.

Had to return the original Bluray purchased as there were gaps in the movie where the player skipped an entire chapter. Replacement Bluray had a film on it that affected the play. Cleaned it and got better results.

The DVDs work great and the price was really low--I bought them on sale--both Blue Ray and regular DVDs were packaged in the same box together. But I didn't like the movie as much as the first six Star Wars films.

Maybe because I have never been a big Star War's fan, this latest episode was just ho-hum. I realize that I am in the minority but if you are being honest, was really as good as all the attention that it received?

Of course being a cool steelbook I had to buy it but really hate how much of a premium Best Buy charged over the standard version. Regardless, the disc is great audio/visual wise and has some nice supplements.

George Lucas should have been the one directing and writing the film by himself. Disney shouldn't have had a part in it. It just doesn't feel like the Star Wars I grew up with. I just didn't enjoy the movie.

Merely a effort to extend the Star Wars franchise to a new generation of viewers. We seem to be focused upon creating sequels and prequels. Gone is the creativity that brought us many, new epochal films.

I won't spoil the movie by giving it away, but I was not impressed with it. In my opinion, even the first three were better. I gave it three stars even though I didn't want to because ITS FLIPPIN STAR WARS!
