I thought the directing was great as was the special effects. Most of the acting was good, Carrie Fisher being the exception. It just seemed like a warmed over original Lucas plot to me.

This is pretty comprehensive as far as bare bones first edition blu ray releases go but I'd save my money so as not to double dip for the 3D blu ray which has more special features.

Was expecting so much more from this movie. Yes, visually it was great in 3D but the story was pretty much taken from Episode IV New Hope. I thought Rogue One was so much better!

Same thing as Episode 1. Its Star Wars, so you have to watch it, but its the same story as Episode 1. Several things don't make sense in the grand scheme of star wars, but oh well

They are NOT the next Vader and Luke. Not by any stretch. IMO, this film overall is much better than TLJ but the characters are just too out of wack for me.

While I feel there are some things that aren't quite up to the previous Star Wars and may be a bit "hokey" and some of the acting is not up to par, it is still an entertaining movie.

2 minutes of Luke sky walker at the very the end? Seriously ? Glad I did not waist my money in a theater.. And. Bought on sale ... Ok for a long plane ride but would not watch again

Star Wars fans wish the third in the trilogy was this good. That being said, not great. However, still enjoyable to watch.

Star Wars is back. Bring back the original cast and a lot of new ones. It's an alright Star Wars movie, having a lot of stuff of Star Wars, but lacks in the story and the details.

The action was fun, characters were excellent, but the storyline replicated the themes of Star Wars 1-6. Hopefully, there will be no more exploding death stars in upcoming films.

This movie is not a like the others, but it's a good start to the new series of Star Wars saga. Hopefully the next installment will be better. You would still enjoy it through.

I don't think I would spend the extra money for the Steelbook again. It scratches easily. It also doesn't hold any of the special feature information from the outer packaging.

It was great seeing the return of the original cast. But felt like a cheesy over the top rewrite of the original film. Abrams went to an even more extreme duplicating characters into new. Rogue One will atleast be saved from the clutches of Abrams who has not a single thought of originality tucked in with all the ego. I was greatly disappointed with this film. Why Han Solo... and to make his son even worse than Anakin. Another mindless film for the limited attention span youth. Don't waste your time watching this.

Sorry, but I like the original three movies from the 70's and 80's the best. SPOILER ALERT, STOP READING IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIE.... I am very angry that Han Solo was killed at the end of the movie. Absolutely Stupid! Also the fact the Luke Sky-Walker was not even in the movie until the end, and it was a stupid 5 seconds you see him was very disappointing. Time has not been nice to Leah!!!! They should have killed her. Her acting was terrible! The best actor was Han Solo, and they should have kept him!!!!

I felt the movie was good. Its on par with the star wars storyline. Graphics and special effects are good. Good cast. Other than that, it wasn't anything spectacular.

There are two kinds of Star Wars fans.......The ones who only watch the movies and the rest of us who read and watch everything we can get our hands on. This review is for the latter. The second I saw that shadow cross the screen I knew I was in for a disappointing time. This movie had so much potential but Disney and JJ Abrams threw out everything written and planned for the SW universe over the last 30 years. This movie was nothing but a rehash of episodes 4, 5, and 6. Very predictable and I'm still mad.

I have all of the Star Wars DVDs. This one was just ok to me. I buy for entertainment not to be some self centered cretic showing off. I just felt the villain was lacking.

I was expecting so much more! I LOVE Star Wars and was told this was a great film. I did not think so. Super simple, transparent plot, no surprises, other than the death of....... The acting was not that great, to be honest. Just not a very well-made film, in my opinion. LOVED seeing Han and Chewie and Luke and Leah...love seeing the Millennium Falcon back in action, but did not like the new characters, at all. Which kind of messes it up right from the start. I would NOT recommend this to anyone.

It's a good movie with nice special effects. It doesn't hang with the original Star Wars movies. It's probably time to put this one to bed. You can over do a good thing.

This movie has all the great characters, fantastic music, acting, tech. But the story line was not really fresh and did not add much to the series. A bit disappointing.
