The quality of this Blue Ray DVD was excellent. However, the movie itself did not live up to my expectations as far as the movie versus the original Star Wars movies.

Not as good as the previous movies. Too similar to the first but everything is bigger. Amazing the jet fighter have not evolved. Too many predictable takes, outcomes.

Origionally was not going to purchase but now that they came out with another movie I had to get this on to go along with the full set I currently have.

I bought this mainly because its Star Wars, after watching it for a second time the movie is on ok at best. Its Episode III from the Original Trilogy with a mask on.

Saw the very first Star Wars film in the 70's and not one of the series has beaten it. But the industry did an ok job on this one. I will still come back for more.

I am a Star Wars fan but this movie was too derivative for my tastes. Home video release is missing the trailers which is ridiculous in 2016. Video quality is fine.

Very disappointed in this Star Wars I expected a better plot with all the excitement I kept hearing it's like I was watching the first 6 Star Wars all in this one.

Huge star wars fan. It was a good movie. I def expected more sorry to say. I seen all of them so I had to see this one . I guess I would recommend to a friend ....

If you have seen the original Star Wars, then you have already seen this movie, full of plot holes and conveniences, closer to the prequel trilogy than I care for

I thought the movie was ok. It reminded me way too much of episode 4 though which took away from it as I wanted something new and not something I've already seen.

If you like Star Wars you will probably like this. It is not quite as good as previous movies in the series and the plot line has a few flaws. It is entertaining.

Not a bad movie but has a lot to be desired. More of a rehash of the very first Star Wars movie back in 1977 albeit with new characters. Very predictable ending.

Force awakens reminds me of the original star wars movie . Not as orginal as I expected. A bit diappointing. Hopefully the next movies will improve on this one.

It is funny how much of a rip off this is of A New Hope. Man, it was disappointing.

This movie is great in 3D, the action comes right to your face, great production for the continuing Star Wars saga, a must have for your collection.

Principally a remake of the first movie. The new characters were second rate, the plot unoriginal, and it did not come as a surprise that Harrison Ford bailed.

More could have been accomplished with this amazing universe. However, contemporary social issues prevented a more wonderous, profound story from being told...

I bought this movie because of all of the critic reviews. I do not have an opinion to myself right now just cause I have not had the time to watch it just yet.

My 1-star rating is solely based on the collector's edition steelbook packaging, not the movie itself. I ordered this twice. First order was online for in store pick up. Initial order was cancelled by BB for lack of inventory (after receiving confirmation email), but I was able to secure another copy at a store a little further away from home. Inconvenient, but worth the sale price. Upon getting home and removing the shrinkwrap, I noticed numerous dings and dents in the steelbook. After consulting in store reps and unable to find a copy in store (inventory said limited), I reordered over the phone (40+ minute process between initial 20 minute hold and then resolution with phone rep) for ship to home delivery, and ran into the same issue with dents and dings on the replacement. It wouldn't be a huge deal except the ONLY reason I bought this was for the steelbook packaging. I already owned Ep 7 digitally on iTunes. I decided it wasn't worth the hassle to try for a third time or to return completely, as I bought the item on sale for $10. However, sale or not, for "Best Buy exclusive collector's edition packaging," this leaves me extremely disappointed. I would not recommend to anyone who might be buying as a collector's item unless you're able to sift through multiple copies in store to find a non-damaged one.

Star Wars wasn't what I expected. The movie has been revived for a new generation. However it used everything from the original 3 to sum up into one movie.
