A rewritten version of episode 4, but a must have.

This was by far my least favorite star wars movie.

I couldn't get my magazine downloaded for my approval before it is sent to my printer. Slow for most of my email as well. . Was told it was the equivalent of the i5....but this is not as good as my old i3...at least not yet. Strange for a new product.

No vision, no villain, no acting, no script, no imagination, no 'Star Wars' wisdom, no music. In a word - NO-Movie. There are movies that you watch and you forget about them on the next day. This is not the case. This movie you forget in the next hour and you never want to remember about it. And what is even worse I don't think that they can turn the game in the sequels with this casting. The only good things in the movie were BB-8 and that it finished. If they rename it to "Teenage Star Wars" than it could make scene. And let someone that really cares to make the Start Wars move that each generation deserve. Never, ever have seen such a misleading rating.

The characters are great. No question this is a must have for the continuation of the saga. The problem, it's the same formula as the original trilogy. The story lacked creativity. Very disappointed in the movie, but excited to see what happens next.

I was really looking forward to this movie, but was sadly disappointed to find out it is just a modern-day remake of the original, with very little creativity. I only gave it two stars for the creative way they worked in the original characters.

Finally Got this movie, and after all the hype, I was severely disappointed with the casting, acting, and storyline. It is basically a rehash of the old Star Wars trilogy. I hope the next will be will be much better.

I was disappointed with the pace, the characters and surprisingly the acting of Harrison Ford in his reprise role. I will watch it again when I get a chance to see if the rest of it was redeeming. I just was excited and wanted to love it.

seriously??what were they thinking??? all this was recycled material from the original movies! i am not a bug star wars fan but i know movies! and as soon as this movie took off i already knew it was like the old ones. they have run out of creativity for this franchise....this franchise is literally dead if they dont come out with something new. and well guess what?? an new trilogy had already been announced a while back for the year 2021. lets see what kind of garbage theyre going to give people now

The film still lacks in the script and corny jokes... and with the 3D now, you can have all that mediocrity right up in your face. Let's pray the next episode is what Star Wars fans can REALLY be expecting as a comeback...

Not Easily Impressed Old-School acting. . . Story-line less than impressive, boring and predictive, lack of substances, however the graphics and special effects were great. . . . Next time, I’ll make mines Marvel.

The pieces of classic Star Wars have returned, but not the artistic integrity. Nostalgic fumes may be more than enough for most, but will this movie stand the test of time? I wouldn't bet on it.

Leave it to Disney to mess up what could have been an epic movie with horrible casting It's so San the saber fights were better in the original Star Wars back in 77 It did have a great story that's it

In the middle of the 3D version, the DVD shut everything down. The oppo DVD player and my Marantz receiver off. Turned everything back on and did the same thing at the same point in the movie

If you take the 1977 film and update it...that what this one is. I was very disappointed. I have send it three times because I really want to find something I like about it but I can't...SAD!!!

The movie tried real hard to have a female antagonist now take up being the Jedi. The new villain they imposed on us was truly aweful compared to Vader. This movie was a stinker.

While I did enjoy the fact they didn't use much CGI, the rest of the movie,plot line,writing and acting were not so great! By far not my favorite Star Wars movie (Probably ever) of the series!

The movie was amazing the packaging was not so amazing, I preordered online for store pick up, but when I got home and removed the wrapper big dent into the metal casing and I would have refused it if it wasn't for the large Best Buy sticker covering up the area that was dented, so the gimmicky Steelbook I wanted was damaged before I even got to crack open the case. I would recommend getting the regular version of the film unless you know you got a good steelbook case worth getting, because I can't return the copy I got.

I was expecting a fully loaded special edition and this is sub par. Unless you are a completist or are dying for this in 3D I would skip this release entirely
