Saw this film the first day it came out with my wife at Cinemark XD. Bigger and Louder. Been a Star Wars fan since I was a child and this movie certainly lived up to my expectations. Wife cried and I couldn't stop smiling. A must have to add to the saga. Getting it on bluray, it's way better.

This movie adds more to the saga then the prequels. That was easy. But it was more than that. It wasn't just nostalgic to see the characters we love so much. You fall in love with the new as well. New fears in the galaxy as well. Incredible story telling, as you'd expect with Disney. Thank you, George Lucas for creating such a beautiful world, and sharing it with us.

First of all I love the movie, and as for this packaging it looks pretty great in my collection. The steel case features Kylo Ren with his lightsaber printed on the front and then Captain Phasma on the back which looks great. The inside art features the Millennium Falcon Jakku scene which is also excellent. Picture quality looks fantastic and the bonus features are so interesting. The other Star Wars steel books feature their original poster art printed on the back of their case and I thought this case would do the same, but seeing as how the poster art is nowhere to be seen, that kinda put me off. Thats all minor criticisms so no big deal.

After the disappointing releases of the prequel trilogy, having a new director and production company is refreshing. The movie has several parallels to A New Hope with enough to make it stand apart with introduction of new characters, the return of old ones, and impressive special effects. The video and audio presentation are demo worthy! Highly recommended.

As a long time fan of Star Wars, and having stood in line to watch the original film in 1977, I had to view this new installment which includes the original actors. Glad I purchased the Blu-ray version, the viewing experience was optimum. After watching 6 times, I grew to appreciate the effort, and am now anticipating the next episode without any reservation.

This was a great movie! Though some have said it's basically a renewal of the first Star Wars movie from the 1970's. The producer did admit this saying it was a nod towards the fans to bring back in a bit of a new light what everyone loved and remembered. All the fan favorite characters are there plus some new ones. Yes, Luke does make an appearance.

Did you enjoy the movie in the theater? If you answered yes, then buy this disc. Great audio and video. If I had any complaints it would be that there was no 3D version released at the same time. There has also been no information regarding an UHD blu ray release either. I'm sure there will be both but releasing them day and date would have been better.

The steelbook edition was a real nice addition to the purchase of the movie, other retailers were offering pictures or mini posters but I think the packaging for the best buy version was worth the extra 2 bucks, it looks cool and has a lot of bonus features. def. worth the price.

This movie is a great new start of the Star Wars series. Perfect for a new generation or current fans already. It beings back the excitement of the original 3. More actual models instead of a bunch of CGI of the last 3. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys Star Wars or action movies. The bonus features are great addition as well to the movie.

I'm not going to say much about this outstanding sequel film, but this Episode 7 alone rips the last three apart with the force! LOL! The last three were pretty good, but this one jedi crushed em all! I can't wait for episode 8! A mash up on the classic film and the new ones, which in turn is absolutely amazing!! Definitely getting this on blu-ray!

This is a wonderful movie and continuation of the beloved Star Wars saga. The blu-ray image quality and sound make this the best looking and sounding Star Wars movie ever. There could have been more bonus material, but what is there is very entertaining. This combo pack from Best Buy was a great price, and I am very happy with the purchase.

Such a fantastic film that harkens back to the originals! This is one of those you're going to want to watch through the ages, has the DVD/Digital combo so you can view it in multiple formats... and the special features give you an interesting look into things like how they created BB-8 and implemented him into filming! Get it and enjoy!

I was going to rate this a 4 Stars, but after re-watching it on BLU-Ray I must say that I enjoyed the movie that much more. The special features and behind the scenes were also very interesting and cool to watch. I would recommend buying and enjoying at home. Looking forward to the next movie installment of the force awakens!

So.. everyone has seen this movie. You aren't reading the reviews to see what other people thought of it, you're reading to see if the steelbook is worth buying. I'd say yes, as long as you are willing to pay a little extra for it. The cover and back are really cool looking, with Kylo Ren on the front and Phasma on the back.

This is Star Wars and this the Star Wars movie that the fans deserved. The picture and sound is excellent. A real treat for home theater enthusiast.

This movie was enjoyable for our whole family because they went back to the formula that worked. There was a story told, it made sense, and the characters were generally likable. It didn't matter it was predictable because it felt familiar, unlike the last three that came out. I want to see the rest of the story play out.

After the mostly horrible prequel trilogy, my expectations were low for this movie. JJ Abrams does a decent job of rebooting the franchise. The biggest complaint I've heard is that a lot of elements of the movie are familiar but I think it was necessary to remind us what we originally loved about the Star Wars universe.

Finally, a movie that actually felt like Star Wars after the travesty that was the Prequel Trilogy. May I offer a suggestion though? Disney should have offered a DVD/Blu-Ray combo for the steelbook releases for the first six movies too, as opposed to just Blu-Ray, only to include both formats for The Force Awakens.

And just like that, Star Wars is back! The Force Awakens is a great next chapter in the epic saga that is Star Wars. Dramatic action with some comedy just the way fans of the original movies like it. It all comes together well in this adventure as returning and new heros face a new threat. May the force be with you.

You've probably seen the movie already, so there's no question that it's a great movie to watch. You should buy the Blu-Ray for the special features. Tons of interesting behind the scenes videos to watch. I put in the second disc first that contains all of the extras. It made me watch to watch the movie al over again.
