Saw episode VII Friday at my local theater, will most definitely be buying the home video release. Hopefully they release a steelbook to go along with the others that were released in November, or a complete saga set with the digital copies of course. Was a very good film and brought memories back of my earlier childhood.

For any Star Wars fan this is a must have.The movie itself is on par with the original 3 films and captures everything that majority of fans love about the series. Plus with the exclusive Steelbook, that features the villains Kylo Ren on the front and Captain Phasma on the back it will stand out in any collection.

Sure there are some plot holes and yes the story parallels the original Star Wars: Episode IV ...but that's kind of the point. The story has always hinged on the Skywalker family determining the balance of the Force. Besides...If you have OCD, you're gonna buy this so that you can maintain a proper collection.

I've had this movie since the release day, but thought I should mention here that every other friend of mine that got this ended up just randomly picking up some version of a "special edition" from different retailers. The case for this one is HANDS DOWN the nicest and most worthy of being called special.

I know the Prequels get a lot of hate, but I had fun with those for what they were. However, this movie felt like a Star Wars movie through and through. I can't put my finger on it, but it recaptured the magic of Star Wars that I remembered from my childhood. Excited to see where the next movies take us.

Fear not Star Wars is back and in a big, beautiful way! The Force Awakens is the real deal! This outstanding blu-ray release housed in a beautiful steelbook case is one for the ages. Amazing picture and sound quality. Do yourself a favor and transport yourself to a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

Enjoyed the movie in theaters and wanted to own it. Purchased the blu- ray, but found it doesn't play on our older samsung blu-ray machine.More disappointed in the Blu-Ray player or those who are developing different blu-ray technology. The movie is worth watching multiple time to catch all the details.

In this age of streaming content, it's refreshing to experience the tactile satisfaction of handling the sharply designed Blu-ray steelbook. It may be an "old school" attitude, but the collection of Star Wars steelbooks look very nice sitting on your shelf - And this is a fine addition to the series!

The Force Awakens is a return to the original Star Wars films in many ways. The look and feel is much more like the originals, and not at all like the early 2000s (thank goodness). One similarity is the cast: Luke, Leia, Han, etc. return in this episode. The story is very reminiscent of A New Hope as well. While some people struggled with the story, the similarities with A New Hope, and the death of a major character, others enjoyed it as a shout out to the classic Star Wars films and were excited to have the franchise redeemed.

Star Wars VII alone is a great movie, but this version comes in a Steelbook Case. Steelbooks look great on the shelf and to pull out and brag about. Sure the Target Version comes with 20 min of bonus content but it comes in a cardboard foldout case, ewww. This case is at least something to talk about!

Grab your pop corn, a cold drink, and get ready to watch an action packed movie full of many classic characters and introduction of several new ones too. The action is fast and wonderful; you even get to watch planets exsplode and one of the largest weapons in the star wars universe go boom. so enjoy.

This steel book edition of The Force Awakens is a must have for any Star Wars fan! Having all the movies dating back to the originals on VHS, this steel book is by far the best version of the movie to purchase versus all the others offered by other retailers. Highly recommended for any Star Wars fan!

This movie really brings the excitement of the original trilogy back! Though the plot is very similar to the original, it just "feel" like "Star Wars." The new cast is very likeable, and the action and visuals are top-notch. There are some good extras, but there will be more on future releases.

This Blu-Ray is a "must buy" for any Star Wars fan, especially if you have a good 5.1 sound system. My disc had a defect that showed up 1 1/2 hours into the movie, but Best Buy exchanged it, no questions asked. Thanks, Best Buy! Second disc is flawless and I am now watching it for the third time!

It hasn't been since Return of the Jedi that I have enjoyed a Star Wars film this much. I am so happy to have confidence in the series again after the prequels really crushed my childhood love of the series. This is a fun and exciting film, this steelbook is great as well and will match my others

While I am happy that I finally got to own this movie after seeing it twice in theaters, I'm a bit surprised and disappointed that there is no commentary included. With this being such a huge movie with a lot of hype and history behind it, the lack of commentary seems like a missed opportunity.

JJ Abrams brought new life to the Stars Wars franchise, especially after the Jar Jar Binks debacle. I can't wait to see the next Stars Wars film in the theater and I'll be first in line when it's released on Blu-ray. If Star Wars - The Force Awakens isn't in you collection it should be.

Having seen the movie digital and regretting not seeing it at theaters brought it on Blu Ray the first day it came out. JJ Abrams did an awesome job with this new trilogy for Star Wars. It's nice that it includes the digital copy and DVD version. Can't wait for the sequel to arrived.

This is a good movie for young people who are barely getting into the stat wars universe. Clearly there are some easter eggs throught out the movie that Star Wars fans will recognize. The plot can sometimes get a little convoluted but overall its a great movie for the family and kids.

As everyone knows this is a great movie. However, the great part about this particular product is the fact that you get multiple viewing outlets such as Blu-ray, DVD, and digital. The digital copy allows you to upload the movie via any platform you choose (iTunes, Google Play, etc).
