We saw it the movies and was glad it didn't take long before it was released on dvd. I was able to teach the new generation the background to the star wars sagas. It all began in a galaxy far far away. ....

I bought this DVD a couple days before official release. It was available for pick up in store exactly as advertised. The price was the best I could find anywhere on line. Terrific movie ... all I expected.

The events from the original trilogy get their finally by revisiting those character and introducing new faces in this. The start of a new (final?) trilogy and nostalgia abounds. Great packaging, Steelbook.

You can't go wrong with any Star Wars movie. I waited for the 3D version to come out and was worth the wait. Great movie in 3D if you have a 3D TV. The Star Destroyer comes out in your living room.

A MUST BUY FOR ANY STAR WARS FAN..YOUNG AND OLD. LOVED EVERY MINUTE. LOVED BONUS FOOTAGE AND DELTED SCENES. I LIKE HAVING THE DIGITAL ON MY COMPUTER AND HAVING THE DVD TO WATCH WHILE AT HOME. WORTH THE BUY.

got it for the Steelbook Exclusive case. same extras as everyone else (except for Target). i'm not reviewing the movie. blu ray transfer of audio and visual are top notch. comes with digital HD code.

The movie aside this is a really unexpectedly nice print. Great detail, realistic grain reproduction and no noticeable image manipulation. The sound leaves something to be desired but this is in line with all disney releases of the last few years.

My wife believe it or not had never watched any Star Wars and she really enjoyed it, my children were also glued which is a first as normally 30 minutes and they won't sit still, highly recommend this film

If you don't like Star Wars, like any Star Wars, including Episode 1, then you're the worst type of person. Get a new personality and stop trying to be a hipster. Star Wars is awesome just accept it.

Love the Star Wars saga but middle 3 films were a bit disappointing. The Force Awakens restores the series to greatness. Awesome storytelling, nice nods to the past. Fine looking, pristine Blu Ray & sound.

I can't say that I'm a true Star Wars fanatic, but I think it was a great extension of the franchise, to be honest, scads better than the prequels (which I was forced to rewatch before viewing this movie).

It was a late Christmas gift for a friend of mine I looked at Walmart Kmart Target all the other stores in my area I could not find the movie anywhere finally went to Best Buy and found it.

This DVD is certainly a necessity for every movie collectors library. It is so awesome that Best Buy discounts new releases on the first day of release making it so much easier to keep collections current.

I was never a fan of Star Wars until recently, and I loved the newest movie in the franchise. Rey the leading actress is awesome can't wait for the rest of the movies! Got a great deal at Best Buy $10 off.

Already saw it in the theater in NYC. Awesome AMC Theater surround sound, shaking seats, etc. but still needed to see it again in front of the 65" HD TV a home. The movie was even better than I remembered.

Great movie. I enjoyed the new storyline and the new characters, but the old characters look very old and especially Princess Leia. Her life in between movies was evidently very rough. Still a great movie.

Great movie! I'm such a Star Wars fan and I was skeptical about seeing this movie at first, but after I saw it in the movies, I knew I had to buy it when it came out on blu-ray. You won't be disappointed!!

A great movie. A mix of old and new generations. New cast old cast. Great story line, plot. Excellent FX. This was a great buy as well. It's helpful when you can get all three formats. Blu-Ray DVD Digital.

While not a huge Star Wars fan I did want to see the movie. Didn't get a chance to see it in theater so I picked up the Blu-ray disc. I actually enjoyed the movie more than the previous Star Wars releases.

As a Star Wars fan it's awesome Must get. The features are standard all the stuff you would expect for the compilation. I'm pretty sure they are gonna hold out for future box sets when the trilogy is done.
