It’s hard to write a review for a finale to a trilogy you love and hate. Sound/special effects awesome. Characters you’ve known for 30+ years revisited-cool. Storytelling ???? Each film is enjoyable but each one also leaves you scratching your head as to what? Is it worth a buy if you’re a Star Wars fan—yup. Otherwise watch it for yourself first before investing money

Great action-packed movie Great Sound Picture quality outstanding

Was a great piece to the Star Wars saga, even better with digital copy and 4k.

This Star Wars, The Rise of Skywalker is one of the Best Star movies. You will not be disappointed with the extra DVD included with the 4K DVD on the making of this movie which lasted almost 2 hours on How movie was made from start to finish. Very much enjoyed and several classic scenes were also included. A must for a movie collection in the Star Wars Franchise.

Being a child born in the early 70's I still remember my mom taking me to see the very first (which is really the 4th) movie at the theatre when I was 6 years old. And I haven't missed one since. This is just the next in a long line of amazing Star Wars movies with cutting edge / amazing cinematography and special effects like no other. Another great Star Wars movie, this is.

A lot of people hate this movie, which I understand. But I liked this movie, a lot actually. The Last Jedi left a bad taste and Rise of Skywalker helped get it out. Sure, there are some gaping plot holes and outright short-cuts alongside some underdeveloped characters. But there are also amazing visual and audio effects. There are a bunch of rewarding little nods to the original movies. And the plot finds a way of coming full circle to close out this modern trilogy nicely.

I've been a Star Wars fan since watching the original release in 1977 at the age of 6. Of course, there has been a lot of negativities surrounding the prequals and the follow-on three. I too think they could have been better, but I will always enjoy watching anything in the Star Wars universe. They 4K quality is great.

Good addition to the Star Wars trilogy must watch.

Movie looks great on this 4K ultra HD disc. I viewed this on an LG OLED B7 65 inch TV. Great blacks and HDR highlights especially compared to Last Jedi. If you like this movie, this disc is highly recommended. It looks like there is some film grain but this does not bother me. I have a 2.1 sound system so I can not comment on the surround sound but the bass had good impact.

This review not so much for the story line. it was entertaining but I’ll leave that part of the review to the movie critics. The UHD blu ray disc picture and sound quality are excellent. If you want to push the limits on your A/V view the the UHD blu ray. For convenience utilize the digital copy on your preferred media service provider (Vudu, iTunes, Movies Anywhere).

Great ending to a great set of story chapters. Star Wars is in a class by itself and has no equal. I hope the spin-offs are as good as this chapter and the series as a whole. I am happy with my purchase it came on time. the movie itself in my opinion is the best Star Wars movie since the original Three. The film has all the elements that you would want from a Star Wars movie

The movie itself is a hate it or love it. I actually enjoyed it very much. This is more of a review of the disc themselves. The main menu is soooooo over saturated, and so are parts of the film. I have had my TV calibrated so it gives the best picture when it comes to movies. Darker blacks and whiter whites so to speak. This movie did not transfer that great, nor did the sound. And I have a 5.1 surround sound system. Movie yes, this transfer to disc, not so much.

I've been a fan of the series for decades now, and was worried that the finale of the Skywalker Saga wouldn't live up to expectations. My worries were completely resolved. The character development, fan service, and action sequences exceeded my wildest expectations. I believe that the more familiar with Star Wars, the more fine, subtle details/Easter Eggs you will notice and appreciate. These fine touches really are the icing on the cake for me. It's difficult to discuss these aspects without spoilers, but I will do my best. The character development is consistent and well thought out throughout the sequel trilogy. In the years since seeing Episodes 7 and 8, I had many questions that I feared would not be answered. Rise of Skywalker does a phenomenal job of giving me my answers while even going the extra mile, tying together the entire saga. I think most of all, the writing impressed me the most. As time progresses, it becomes apparent that each scene serves a distinct purpose of character development. I appreciated that the characters' actions, dialogues, and capabilities are highly consistent and believable with their past story arcs, making the film all the more memorable. I ended up seeing this movie multiple times in theaters, and am proud to say I now own the hard copy. Highly recommended!

what a great end to a trilogy! the rise of skywalker is amazingly fun and exciting to watch. the artwork on the sleeve and on the inner cover are superb and the artwork on the disks are cool. watched the movie at least 2 times already since I received it and it gets better each time! if you liked the movie in the theatre your gonna love this set pick it up today!

Don't get me wrong, I loved the movie itself. The quality of the presentation on 4k is off the charts. Deep blacks, vibrant colors, incredibly fine detail along with an incredible lossless audio track. This will be my new reference disc for anyone with an interest in the 4k format. Absolutely stunning presentation all the way around. Extremely highly recommended.
