Great Special Effects in 4K, Storyline was ok, could have been better.

The special effects are great and action is nice. Had to watch it twice to get the feeling with the sound.

Another great 4k movie to showcase or test your home theater setup. The movie itself is good, not great.

The actual product is good, quality image and sound with some good extras. However, the film is a disappointment. The trilogy, which seemed rushed and unplanned, falters in this final chapter. A waste of some good characters who were aimless over the course of 3 movies. The Last Jedi was intriguing, but this movie tries to ignore it.

Great movie in 4K! If you have an Atmos setup, even better!

In what should have been an epic conclusion, this ninth film in the Star Wars saga just didn’t offer the goods. Although the picture and sound quality are both fantastic, the half-baked story does little to move the arc forward. Reintroducing Emperor Palpatine in a last-ditch attempt to “tie” all three trilogies together was a Hail Mary from director JJ Abrams.

Looks great in 4K, this is the best of the 3 new Star Wars movies.

The Rise of Skywalker features the typical pros that all of the Sequels have shared, great music from John Williams, fantastic visuals, funny dialogue, and the great acting from every character involved. It also introduces some interesting ideas and characters, and is filled with fun action pieces. The film is harmed by an overly fast pace, unnecessary retcons of the previous film, and an overall rushed feel to the film. These problems make this notably worse than the last two films and it's hard to not be slightly disappointed in the conclusion. However, the film does have a lot of redeeming qualities. So, I'd recommend the film to any Star Wars fan who's enjoyed the last two Sequel films, but probably no one else, If you didn't like the last two, there's nothing here that will change your mind. And if you haven't watched them, you'd need to watch them first before watching this one. In terms of the 4K Steelbook, it looks fantastic and is my favorite of the Sequel Trilogy steels, the bonus features are a joy to watch, though it painfully lacks a commentary track on the feature disc, and we don't have any deleted scenes. That's especially disappointing when compared to The Last Jedi, which had over 20 minutes of deleted scenes. The transfer quality is great on each disc and I have no complaints in that regard. There's no previews and the discs load up really fast. The menu is a bit bland when it comes to the visual side but it at least has a pretty good musical track accompanying it. Overall, I highly recommend getting the 4K Steelbook. It looks fantastic and comes with a Blu-Ray if you still haven't gotten a 4K setup.

Movie quality and sound is good but i still find the story to be rushed.

4k is the best way to watch this movie. Colors pop and the sound is fantastic.

Great movie and the 4K really made for a wonderful picture.

An epic visual and storytelling triumph. The Skywalker story is so beloved, and while many may have wanted to see specific things other than how things wrapped up, I for one believe that the writers and actors delivered on 40+ years of Star Wars history.

Ordered on line, which stated next day delivery, but took over a week to deliver. Besides that, movie was in good shape, played with no problem, and if a Starwar’s fan, which I am, was an excellent movie, action, adventure and with 4K & surround a sound is like watching at the movies.

Might have been smart for Disney to get its three directors together and if not plan out where they felt the story should go, at least set some guidelines to follow or even consider. That being said Adrams spends a few key scenes undoing what the last Jedi did. And as a fan that is sad to see but it ends in a way that a great story could end. Is it perfect ? No. But that is Disney’s fault. Not any of the directors.

Excellent end to the most iconic and instrumental to society film series ever envisioned! This one, for me, was a great close out, so what if not all the answers are there, but what movies series does that completely, enjoy the ride and see it for what it is, the end of a great series and the set up for the next!

While the sequel trilogy was by no means perfect, the final entry is what fans wanted in this influential franchise. All the action and character interactions are in my opinion, great to see over and over again! And that’s what I’m the end , everyone needs right now in this day and age.

First time watching the movie with the family. While some diehard Star Wars fans will argue that this movie is subpar as the story bounced around a lot to tie up many ends of the Star Wars Skywalker saga, we felt that was not the case. The movie was very entertaining, had great special effects and was a good end to the saga.
