I have to side with the critics on this one. The first two - the Force Awakens and the Last Jedi - were certainly more superior. Hey, this is a great movie for the sake of being a movie but it is a step down for the Star Wars movies. The Solo movie was better.

Overall was very entertained. I think they tried to fit a little to much story into the movie, either they should have made it a 2 parter like the 7th book from Harry Potter or narrowed the story line a little. I would liked to have seen more character development and personal interaction (like the scene when they are talking about there past jobs(very humorous)), the CGI was a little to much. The amount of CGI would have fine if there was more character development. Don't get me wrong the CGI was awesome. The final take I have is the scene cuts from time to time could have been better. They felt a little like Michael Bays style in Transformers, quick cuts and landscape totally changes with no real transition.

I thought this movie was great and the thought that went into everything was really incredible. I cant say i love all of the choices made by the writers and director, but they were handed a broken world after Rian Johnson did the Last Jedi. I am not bashing the last jedi to be clear, Johnson just eliminated many character and almost all the resistance so this was a task for anybody taking on the role. They made Luke Skywalker more like Luke again. Rey, Finn & Poe were back together fighting together. This felt like a team effort and the visuals and sound were tops of the new trilogy. Dont be swayed by the media reports and the movie snobs, this is a crazy good 10pounds of star wars in a 5 pound bag movie. You wont be disappointed

As a diehard Star Wars fan, I love nearly everything to come out of the franchise. That being said, I can definitely feel the tension between JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson. It successfully ties the saga together, though, so did Return of the Jedi. It’s still worth a watch.

There is so many hidden details that were probably missed on the first view-- probably because I was paying more attention to what was going on. If anything, it will complete your Skywalker Saga of Star Wars.

What a great way to end the Skywalker saga. This movie has a great story line, tremendous special effects, and great characters. It is well worth the time to watch. The added feature events are great as well.

I've watched this movie both on the 4K disc and Disney +. Both ways it looks and sounds great but I give the nod to the disc. This completes my collection of all the Star Wars movies and I'm glad I got it.

Although the movie could have been better, I'm a star wars fanatic! The uhd version was fantastic and the picture and sound was phenomenal. Considering buying all star war movies in ultra high def.

This is the last one. It needs to stop. Overpowered non-trained, force wielding people is too predictable. Getting rid of all the old characters so they can start fresh with new people is getting old. The new tv shows are more fascinating than these last movies.

Enjoyed the ending of the Star Wars series. Sad to see those actors that passed away during the filming. Great job with incorporating footage from previous films to be able to complete the story.

This is the final Skywalker story and after the abomonation of ep8, seeing ep9 as the end was...well, probably for the better. Of the 3 "disney" era movies, TROS was, imho, the best in the sequel trilogy ( not counting rouge 1 or solo). ROTS attempted to connect all 9 films together. The main negative for TROS is the beginning arc seemed to come from nowhere. Other than the famous opening scroll, there was no tie in from ep8 as to why kylo was on this mission. Ep9 like the other 2, did mimmick the original trology, but not as obvious ( unless I was used to it after 2 previous films. Another short coming was the sudden appearance of Lando w/o clarity of his recent whereabouts.. One of the positives was how they handled the passing of Carrie Fisher 3 years prior, and how the fate of Leia was played out.i would still recommend this film. It's just a shame the lack of related products such as toys.

I have seen all the Star Wars movies in the theaters prior to this one. I didn't make the time to see this one while it was in theaters. So, I bought this online (Covid-19 purchase and Best Buy pick up- that's a whole other story), grabbed the remote and watched it on my big screen TV. I had seen the previews and didn't seek out any spoilers prior to the watching this. I am a fan (not diehard) and watch movies to be entertained & not try to find where the director/screenwriter doesn't reference to a previous scene/movie correctly. This was very entertaining for me and there was never a lull in the action. I enjoyed the storyline and pleased they way to brought the trilogy of trilogies to an end.

Nice conclusion to the Star Wars saga. Although they will probably figure a way to continue the story. Wanted to get it on physical media so they can’t “update it for the times”

Now that this, the final entry in the Star Wars saga, is finally out on home video, the question to ask isn't really "Is it worth getting?" but rather "Is it a fitting ending?" I thought it made a satisfactory ending to the series, when I saw it in the theater, and seeing it again on Blu-ray does not change my opinion, despite what the hardcore fans and critics may say about it. My only quibble, in fact, is that there's no 3D home version of it available, at least not in the US, since that's how I saw it in the theater and how I would have preferred seeing it at home. Apart from that, though, the movie is perfectly good on its own merits, and a fitting conclusion to both the saga and an entire era.
