This'll get a lot of hate, don't care, but it's my favorite Star Wars movie. It had a Herculean task of wrapping it all up and it does so quite admirably.

Good movie. Would havr been better if Kathleen Kennedy would just go away forever. If it was done George Lucas' way it would have been phenomenal. Too bad, get rid of that lady, she makes me sick.

Was a highly entertaining movie. By this time we have come to expect spectacular special effects, great scoring, and great story telling. I didn't think this one really surpassed its predecessors. Still a great movie to own.

4k transfer is outstanding. As many have noted, by trying to be too "woke" , and trying to please the fanboys, something is missing. Maybe it is George Lucas' storytelling. While technically pretty, and really, the story isn't all that flawed, but it just can't capture the awe and gee wiz of the original trilogy. I can't explain, but there are no "I'm Luke Skywalker and I'm here to rescue you", or "Luke, I am you father", or "I love you" -" I know" moments. The closest thing to a surprise is Ben killing Han in episode 7 but who didn't see that coming. Rey being a Palpatine was so foreshadowed in the media that it had no surprise value at all. Perhaps the fault lies with Disney trying to be all things to all people. As Yoda said "That is why you fail".

Awesome movie! I really enjoyed the build up of the previous 2 movies; and this brings all your questions to a completion.

As a HUGE Star Wars fan what’s not to love about this movie from the fighting to the Visual effects superb movie! Already watched it 10 times but whose counting!

I personally was satisfied with the movie and ending to the Star Wars series. This is an excellent movie and must see. Would recommend adding this to your collection.

Overall I enjoyed the movie and was pleasantly surprised with the direction of the end storyline. Without giving anything away, the movie was kinda long and answered many questions I had on how it was gonna end. On the other hand, I have new questions that were not addressed, meaning that there were a few loopholes and surprises that only left you to your own imagination. Further, I am disappointed that there were no deleted scenes or even bloopers on the blue ray tape. I had hoped that the deleted scenes would provide some clarity on certain aspects of the movie. Also there is not a director’s commentary film included on the DVD. I have been a Star Wars fan since the beginning so it leaves me a little saddened that this will be the end of the Skywalker saga.

Fight scenes keep this movie rating high. Should have left the two main characters as brother and sister.

I found this Star Wars episode to have something for all fans especially the emotional good byes. I think many fans have forgotten that watching a movie is supposed to be entertaining and enjoyable. I guess it's okay to criticize films if you don't have anything better to do. Me I spend my time and money to enjoy myself. I go with an open mind and I enjoyed the Rise of Skywalker, it had sentiment for the past it explored a possibility that brought back the ultimate villain. In closing I don't go into watching movies to overthink the films meaning or plot. Learning how to enjoy films gives you a more open view.

Purchased this for the family to complete the collection. We enjoyed watching it again in 4K. The family loves all things Star Wars so it was a must have.

I am a huge Star Wars fan, having seen New Hope in theaters 9 times as a kid. The first trilogy is the best, but Force Awakens showed that the franchise could have a new life (even though it was a ripoff of New Hope and Adam Driver was a poor casting choice). The Last Jedi was a disappointment, and The Rise of Skywalker didn’t know what it wanted to be in the storyline. Maybe because Carrie Fisher passed away before they could finish the new trilogy, the new stories lost some momentum. That said, my kids wanted to complete the collection so we bought this one. It’s not the worst, it’s just okay.

Some of the answers to questions set in previous two are finally answered, and in hindsight improves the previous movies. Still doesn’t stand up to the original trilogy or the prequels, but still good Star Wars movie.

This is a decent Star Wars movie. It isn’t as good as the older ones but visually it looks wonderful. Story is just mediocre.

Too big of a Star Wars fan not to have this in the collection. Even better in 4K, so couldn't wait to watch it once I got it. And the bonus features are well worth it!

not the best star wars movie but it was very good leaves you wanting more star wars movies even though this is supposed to be the last one hopefully they can make more

Bought this on launch day and I don’t regret it one bit, watched it 3 times already since. Don’t listen to the haters it’s a good movie and a fitting end to the saga.

I bought this for my husband as a gift. We love Star Wars. The movie was great quality and the case was cool. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

ok, so I had my own theory about the new trilogy and was disappointed it didn't go in a different direction. I have to say though, this was a very entertaining movie.

I really liked this movie. Some of the back and forth style interactions were a bit confusing. And the end felt a little forced and not so natural way to tie it all back to the originals. But overall, very good.
