Yeah I'm still purchasing hard media. Streaming is convenient but it just doesn't have the picture and audio quality that the physical disc has. I've done several comparisons with different movies. What is noticably better with physical media Audio: not compressed more impactful deeper, richer bass More depth to the soundtrack Background audio in the movie more present Picture quality: Bright and vivid Better colors Images in dark scenes and shadows are cleaner and more defined But again I'm old school

This movie was a very fitting end to the original Star Wars saga. It was very good, which I have grown to respect JJ Abrams work!

I don't know why people hate on this movie it was good movie. Some surprises and unexpected stuff but all together a good movie

Good audio and visual experience for the last star wars movie

I always wanted to watch this movie in a higher quality picture. Watching this movie in 4K ,makes it more interesting to watch.

The Rise of Skywalker brings to an end a 9 film series, starting back with 1977’s then titled simply Star Wars. A lot was riding in this film at the time of its release. Not only did it need to stick the landing as a finish for the Skywalker Saga, but to also cement the future of the franchise as well. How good of a job it did will be the subject of debate for years to come, as will be the place of the previous episode, The Last Jedi. The Steelbook: Excellent as usual. The artwork is great to look at and looks very appealing sitting on a shelf with my other steelbooks. The interior looks great as well. I like that they have been using interior image(s) as well. Let’s get this out of the way first: I do not care for this film much. There are things I find good in it, but it seemed so contrived that it didn’t seem to know which way to go or how to get there. Let's start with what I liked. There are a lot of great Star Wars elements here. The film opens with an exciting chase sequence with everyone's favorite hunk of junk. For me, the first half of the film worked way better than the second. The visuals are great to look at. Like its predecessors, it showcases the best of what VFX can offer in the industry today. You see all the money up on the screen. Now to what I didn't like. This script just doesn't make sense to me. There are several consecutive conveniences in a row. All on their own are unlikely, but that's the be expected every now and then. With the number we see in a row, it defies any kind of explanation I could ever come up with for them. The third act alone is also a puzzler. From the question of how does a certain someone even get to a point where they can appear, to virtually everything that transpires, it's a complete face palm. The end of this film just does not work. Any more explanation will get into spoiler territory. I love Star Wars and will continue to love this franchise. This film did not work for me on the level it did for some many. While I walked away disappointed, I'm very hopeful for the future of this franchise and what we will get in the years to come.

Great Movie, although very hard to find good movies with the poor in store selection

I like the movie pretty much. It is better than the preview ones. This time the good force has chosen a lady to fight the dark side. She won the war. Have a great weekend.

Outstanding family movie! Excellent movie rejoins family throughout generations. I’m Big fan of the saga for many reasons and emotions bound to generation pop culture and for sure I love the movie and indeed closes chapter for these trilogies. I have to admit even my wife who isn’t a fan like it very much, she was impressed with the quality of sounds and flawless video. Kudos to everyone involve who may the movie possible and Best Buy putting the collectors SteelBook to my reach, thanks again!!

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is another great Star Wars movie and even better in 4K. I am glad I added it to my collection.

If you are a true Star Wars fan, you would enjoy it. Many want to pick it apart but o feel they did good with what they could.

There hasn't been a Star Wars movie that I haven't loved. They just seem to get better and better. I love them in the 4K format.

* Review of product only, not the movie itself The Steelbook series offered by Best Buy rarely disappoints. I don’t always love the alternate cover art, but it’s almost always good. My only really gripe with the Steelbooks, and this is not exclusive to this packaging, is that the piece that holds the disks in place come in three varieties; too flimsy (Leading to loose, scratched disks), average, & too tight (Leading to potentially damaging either the disk or the price holding the disk upon removal).

There should be t-shirts made that proclaim: "I've lived to finally see the FINAL Star Wars episode released!". We all know that will never happen. As long as there are fans there will be Star Wars movies, right? I liked The Rise of Skywalker film enough to add it to my Star Wars steelbook collection. The picture quality is 5 stars and the sound is 5 stars (once you turn the volume up a bit). The cover art looks good but I gave up long ago to criticize the continuity of the artwork of these Star Wars steelbooks. At least The Rise of Skywalker steelbook's spine matches the first six films. That's saying something I guess.

I had to have the last chapter to the story. Even if it didn't end quite as I would've liked

One complaint about this movie is that it feels like it is trying to cover too much in too short of time. I cannot deny this, but given the constraints provided by George Lucas, there were not many options. He specifically stated there were to be 9 movies, not 10, and Disney did their best to live up to this. While it would be awesome to see a 4-5 hour cut someday that fills the movie out. Overall, I think the story, delivery, and meaning are one heck of an accomplishment for the time allotted.

Movie was fun and had a lot of action but I did not like how it ended. The title is misleading, because she is not a Skywalker. Hopefully I did not ruin it for people.

The Rise of Skywalker looks fantastic in 4K. Although I have Disney +, I’m glad I purchased the dvd to add to my collection.

The 4K quality really brings rgus movie to life. We watched it at the IMAX, and I love it just as much on our 75" 4K Sony!!!!

Bought this during the SIP. If your a Star Wars fan you’ll have your own opinion of the movie. I like the package to get the digital version as well as a physical disc.
