I'm a diehard Star Wars fan so I was incredibly excited for Rise of Skywalker. As someone who loved The Last Jedi, I had issues with the movie after my first and second viewings in the theater. After watching it at home, a few months later though, it started to grow on me. Yes the movie has pacing issues in the first half and a lot of things are contrived just because the plot needed it to happen, but the ending, and the movie overall, are a very satisfying conclusion to the saga. As for the bluray and packaging itself, I'm not the biggest fan of the image they used for the steelbook. I have all 10 movie steelbooks up on my wall and The Last Jedi is probably my favorite next to Rogue one (go figure, my two favorite movies.) The Rise of Skywalker looks rather boring compared to the Last Jedi steelbook, but its still nice and good quality. The documentary on the bonus disk is absolutely amazing. It ties in interviews and clips from the making of the original trilogy while going behind the scenes of the making of Rise of Skywalker. Definitely the highlight of this set. The rest of the features are rather lackluster and the omission of a commentary and deleted scenes are almost criminal. As much as I am loath to say it, I hope they are being saved for a future release because they certainly left a gaping hole in what I expect for bonus features for these movies. Overall, I give this movie and its assorted bonus features a 3/5 mainly for the omission of the bonus features I have come to expect.

Epic ending, hence the title "The Rise of Skywalker", too bad this is the end or is it?

So here is my opinion for what it counts. I found this to be a great end to the revitalization of this awesome storyline. There were expected twists and unexpected turns. Some of the “hardcore” fans have of course found fault with the entire trilogy but as a fan that doesn’t need every scene to perfectly gel with an expected outcome I found little to fault here. It is a great action packed film. Buy it!!

Always love Star Wars. Disney took the latest trilogy and put their spin on it. It wasn't what I expected but it was enjoyable. I read almost all of the EU novels and loved them, but had to learn to separate them from the movies to enjoy the movies. I would have loved for them to follow the novels, but just because they didn't, that doesn't mean that they weren't enjoyable!

The last of the Star Wars movies! Great picture and sound quality. Very good extras on another desk. In my opinion a good deal.

I know there are a lot of vocal critics out there that thought they should have been the director, writer, and producer for this movie. I thought it was excellent. I want to be entertained and spend some time in a different place, where things can happen that aren't realistic, and I don't necessarily expect. This movie does it. There are lightsabers and the force, and really, who needs more than that?

The final movie in a great saga. Always been a Star Wars fan. Like the movie but not a great ending. Was a little disappointed.

Picture is sharp and HDR color is very good. Lossless surround is clean and well done.

The films in the "Skywalker saga" varied in quality. Some were great (A New Hop and The Empire Strikes Back), some were completely off track (The Last Jedi) and some were simply not as good as they could have been (the prequels). Considering this, the final film had a lot of issues to resolve to wrap things up. Though it has its faults, this final visit to a galaxy far, far away, manages its task.

Was not the best Star wars movie but not the worst, I know alot people don't like the sequel trilogy, but I like This movie out of the sequel trilogy, but knowing my favorite Star wars movie is return of the Jedi, but This one is the best of the sequel trilogy and I would recommend this Star wars movie to anyone who likes or loves the sequel trilogy

Movie was pretty good gave closure to the story kind of predictable if you are a die hard fan but for the most part I liked it

Best buy website must be the most frustrating website I've been on. I enter information, it sends me back to re-enter I formation. I enter it again, same thing. Associate informed me after I mentioned this that the app works better, I don't want the app. There is this the review you wanted or will you tell me I didn't fill it out again. Great service on having my wireless car starter installed though.
