At long last, the final chapter. It has been a long time coming, but well worth the wait. There are still some less stellar moments, but the movie does deliver. Palpatine coming back from the dead was awesome. Great special effects and a fast movie with plenty of action, I really enjoyed this movie. The only sad part is now Star Wars is finished and now there will be no more. This is sad.

The expert critics really slammed this movie, many viewers felt otherwise and I am one of them. The movie was required to cover a lot of ground to finish the saga and I believe it was pretty well done. This isn't the movie that viewers experienced 42 years ago at the beginning and it shouldn't be expected to "feel" like that. The casting is good the excitement is there, sit down and enjoy it.

Another one added to the collection. Can't be satisfied unless you watch them all. Love the classics.

I don’t want to ruin the movie for you (which is pretty alright) so I’m just going to comment on the Best Buy transaction in this review... I pre-ordered this BluRay because let’s face it, I was going to buy it anyway... It’s a Star Wars movie. The release date in stores was 3/31 and it shipped and arrived to my house a day early. You can’t really ask for much more than that. Good job Best Buy.

4k at home with dolby sound is better than theaters!, and I can pause for "breaks".

Wonderful conclusion of the Star Wars saga, worth buying even in regular or blu-ray

Underrated film to conclude the saga. Nothing wrong with the packaging surprisingly. Ordered it online and had it shipped to me so that it could arrive before my birthday. My only gripe is that I wish the artwork on both the DVD case and slipcover was like the re-release art on the other eight movies, but this isn’t the fault of the store. This is the fault of Disney and the manufacturer.

Thought they did a good job finishing up this trilogy. Was a very enjoyable movie.

Awesome 4k recommend to all that love Star Wars without a doubt

Great Movie, and I recommend buying it. I would just do the blu-ray instead of the 4k if I had to do it over again. HDR is a waste. Set your TV as to what you want, not what the director wants Not a very good production of the 4k. Shows to many artifacts. Blu-ray is better with this movie. I do have the Sony UBP-x700. My Vizio P series is phenomenal and I haven't really ran into 4k that lit me up that was noticeably better than a blu-ray disk yet.

Love the star wars saga. 4k makes it even better and brighter.

Entertaining conclusion to a 40 year run. Nice package of Blu-ray/4K and digital.

R.O.S. is a mixed bag of really great and really bad moments. I’ve been a hardcore Star Wars fan for over 30 years and this final entry has left a strong sweet & sour taste. It handles Carrie Fishers death gracefully and is very respectful of the character of Leia. It does some great mentions in spots for hardcore fans of comics and the various animated series. However, with the great moments there is plenty of great crap. Breakneck, cheesy summer blockbuster action movie pacing in the 1st act, along with terrible character and plot development. This terrible high speed pacing left me feeling disrespected as a fan and hurried along, so the movie could make its stupid release deadline and budget. It also blew up again, Finns arc of relationships to a detriment. I was no fan of Rose Tico after the director R.J. debacle of the Last Jedi. But the attempt to sweep his misstep under the rug in this finale was terrible. Would have been better to leave it alone. I could rant for days of multiple missed opportunities to really build a very satisfying ending to the Skywalker saga. I truly believe it would have been better to make it a 2 part finale and actually develop characters and fix plot holes in a meaningful way. Really missed a great opportunity to connect the entire SW universe in a meaningful way. Again, it’s a mixed bag. Hopefully you will enjoy the good and bad and can have some fun, passionate debate about it in 20 years.
