I absolutely loved this film, sure there were issues (as there are in every Star Wars film) , but I feel that Rey and Ben’s story couldn’t have went any better. Also the return of Emperor Palpatine was epic, Ian McDiarmid stole the show in every one of his scenes! Also loveeee Babu Frik!! Hey heyyyy!

Love steel books, I collect these. Also a huge star wars fan, yes I have gripes with the new trilogy as most do, but it is star wars and I still have fun with it when I don't take it too seriously. Hope they come out with better movies now that this is out of the way.

I mean the Disney series was rough, but this was the second best in my opinion. The steel case is great and the artwork looks amazing. I had to get it to complete my collection... But not a good movie to watch.

A lot of "whiners" have tried to ruin this series for everyone. I was impressed with the way that this final installment was able to tie-up the loose ends that were created in the previous movies. Also, the way that homage was paid to many of the characters and principles of the series. I liked it!

The Star Wars movie that was bound to disappoint many people. This new arc has been divisive to fans - especially die-hard fans. Is it a retread, and interesting new direction, or something else? There are definitely some surprises in this movie, some parts to keep you guessing, but I thought it delivered a solid piece of entertainment and lined up well with the others

The movie was good however by the time I really got into it, it was over.

As you already know, the plot with Palpatine is weak. All the adventures in the movie were all right, but felt irrelevant and super fast paced, because we are just concerned about the end, which we already know what it will be. New characters were also irrelevant, and the treatment of Rose Tico is the worst. If this wasn't a Star Wars movie, I'd have given it fewer stars.

For fans of the series it’s a disappointing end to a saga filled with disappointment. JJ did try to write a lot of the wrongs done by the previous director but the ending as it relates to Rae just felt phoned in. The movie looks and sounds awesome though and it was still an enjoyable movie experience

If we remember that Star Wars are children's fantasy films, then this is a very good film. I know it could have told a different and better story but I enjoyed it quite a bit. Being able to enjoy is a metric that is left out of film criticism too often. I especially like that Rey was a Palpatine as that provides the best and edgiest continuity throughout the sequels.

Fun movie. Decent ending to the series. Lots of action. And good story

I enjoyed this movie so much in the theater. On a smaller screen the action was not enveloping. Still a great wrap up to the 3rd trilogy. Looking forward to the 4th trilogy For 2022/2024/2026. The new director should bring a new fresh perspective. Time to let old things end and start new.

this was the last I needed to complete the star wars movies for my collection- and although it was delayed due to the virus it still showed up the same week. No damages, and pristine condition. Decent movie overall, and for any die hard star wars fan, it will round off your collections as well.

First off, this isn't the best Star Wars film ever. However, it does supply enough fun and excitement to keep the Star Wars fans happy. It does tie up most of the lose ends from the previous films and the special effects are up to the usual Lucasfilm standard. 'Rise' may not be the finale that everyone wished for, (like 'Endgame'), but it's enjoyable just the same.

This last chapter in the Star Wars saga was exactly what I had hoped it would be. It had tied up some of the issues, and explained some conflicts that had occured on prevouse films. TYhis was a terrific end to the saga. Hoping when they re-stater the begin where they left off or before episode 4

Everyone complains about the new Star Wars trilogy but it is entertaining and enjoyable. The original trilogy had bad acting not so great storytelling also but people look at it through nostalgia-colored glasses. The Rise of Skywalker is entertaining and fun if you look at it in the right light

Fist off I am a huge star wars fan and this is one of my favorite installments. The movie speaks for itself. This movie looks especially great in 4K. I especially like the beautiful steelbook which is a Best Buy exclusive. Spend the extra 5 bucks an get the steelbook, you won't be disappointed.

Your mileage will vary with this movie. It's a very enjoyable mess, in my opinion. But this is a review of the steelbook release itself. Steelbooks do feel innately more premium than standard releases, but I'm not in love with this one. The art is just okay. Something about the glossy finish makes it look a bit cheap to me. The inner art is nice, though it's just a still from the movie. And my biggest complaint is that these $35 releases don't come with any exclusive content at all. If it were even just $5 cheaper, it would be much more worth it in my opinion. But unless you're a collector, I think you can pass on this steelbook and just get the standard version instead.

The Rise of Skywalker is a decent ending to an average trilogy. I thought it was better than The Last Jedi because it's much more cohesive. Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley give it their all which makes the ending emotionally satisfying. The steelbook packaging is just ok, so unless you're a collector you can probably hold on to the extra dollars.
