Star Wars Rules!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I gave this set only 4 stars for 2 reasons. The 4K transfer would receive 5 stars except they are not encoded with Dolby Vision, only the digital copies are so encoded. The second reason being the packaging. It is nearly impossible to remove the discs without touching the surface. So that said, the presentation of the original trilogy is stunning! These 3 films were remastered in 2019 with 4K digital intermediates, giving detail never seen before in any home media. The HDR color palate helps emphasize George Lucas’ desire for a “dirty” look to the films. If you have a decent quality 4K TV or projector and disc player then you need this set. If not, then buy the digital downloads or subscribe to Disney +.

The Force is Strong with this 4K Set
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."If you're a fan you'll get this." Did my Force work on you? The set is fantastic, the box is sturdy but I have only a few minor issues. With boxes like these, discs are usually in sleeves. Removing them creates fingerprints on the disc, possibly causing skips like why happened to me. The Atmos audio must be turned up for best effect. But the good news is that the Atmos tracks are great! The LFE is thunderous without being boomy. The 4K video improves on the Blu-ray a little. And the wealth of extras are great!

Great set for those who still love physical media
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve a Star Wars fan for pretty much my whole life and have purchased these movies in multiple formats but I have to say this new 4K set is the best. The movies look better than they ever had! I will also go to physical media over streaming and this set does not disappoint. The packaging, although great to look at, is not very functional. You end up smudging the disks trying to get them out and you will mess up the case after repeated viewing but the art does look nice. One thing to note is that only the original trilogy has actually been remastered in 4K, the prequels are an upscale of the bluray. They still look great but I would have loved to have a 4K remaster from original negatives.

Beautiful set
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Whether you are happy with the sequel trilogy or not, this set is a must for any fan of any generation. The collectible case and presentation is gorgeous and well worth the money for all you receive. A must own for any fan of any generation of Star Wars because who doesn’t want Star Wars in 4k!

Great Set with One Big Flaw...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love everything about this box set except one thing. The packaging opens to a gorgeous book. Each movie has its own page, 4K and BD, then pages for the bonus discs. They are in slots at the top of each page and the slots are so tight it is hard to get the discs out. You have to hold the discs by both the printed side and the play side to pull them out. You cannot help but get fingerprints on them. I HATE THAT. This is just poor design. Skimming through the reviews, I know I am not in the minority on this complaint. I'm probably going to get a small disc case and put all of the discs in it and just keep the box as a lovely encased Star Wars art book. Thus this set gets 4 stars instead of 5.

Star Wars 9 film box set 4k
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful and complete box set for any true fan that wants to see all the Star Wars movies in native 4k, HDR stunning, picture denoised a bit on original trilogy that can be seen on 75 inch screens and bigger but the watching experience is still stunning, the rest look perfect, even the prequels which are upscaled play out beautifully. New trilogy is flawless, just the original trilogy could of been left a hair sharper mostly on empire and return. But hope too.

If you want them all
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really cool setup for all the movies. Each movie has a Blu-ray disk, 4K disk, and a Highlights/Making of disk. Thus the 27 disks. It's like a large book with the disks in slots at the top of each page. The box (the black part of the picture) slides out both sides like an elevator door and the silver book comes out. It's a pretty cool setup. I've always said that I will not buy any more of these movies (I have Eps 4-6 on VHS) until all 9 were done and sold in one pack. So glad I waited!

Waiting in suspense
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to send care of a friend as I am in lock down overseas. Cannot wait to pick it up. I will be more relaxed when I see disks are not scratched and also Downloads are 2160p60 and HDR. Movies anywhere have a link to Apple TV and iTunes but Disney block 4K on Apple platforms presumably because Apple do not nickel and dime you every time a new upgrade is released like HD or HDR or 4K where Disney want to grab every penny they can. Walt would be ashamed of them he hated bankers and accountants.

Good collection for Star Wars fans.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s Finally here! The complete skywalker saga, all 9 films fully remastered in 4K with Dolby Atmos. All 9 films within this absolutely gorgeous box set accompanied by the original concept art matching each release, including a letter from Mark Hamill signing off the franchise that changed his life as well as millions of ours around the world. It feels like the holy grail spanning from my childhood until now. Time to fire up the home theater And relive some memories. May the force be with you.

The ultimate Star Wars collection
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Star Wars. The packaging for this set is the best I have seen. I have watched all of the movies and the 4k versions of the original trilogy are excellent. The CGI in the prequel trilogy is a little lacking and looks a little cartoon-ish by comparison. Star Wars has become rather decisive recently so some people may not want this collection as it has all trilogies. For me, I had a marathon over the next few days after purchase and was very pleased.

Brilliant 4K transfer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 4K transfer of these classic films makes them come alive in a new way if you have a 4K TV and Blu Ray player to view them on. The colors are sharper and the detail is much more defined than in any pervious version of the release of any of these movies. Though some are now available on streaming, unless you're connect via fiber optic and you can be sure you are getting a 4K stream, THIS is the way to watch these films. it's like seeing them for the first time all over again!!!!

Beautiful set for Star Wars fans
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, the set looks beautiful. Good enough to leave out on the shelf and not in the cabinet. Once you open the box, every movie has its own page in the case, and each page has some amazing artwork. You get the UHD disks of all the movies, Blu-ray’s as well for those who don’t have a 4K player, and a code for digital downloads. Overall a great collectors item for fans of the movies Note that it only comes with the 9 Skywalker saga movies. Rogue one and Solo are not included.

Great Collection Piece
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought this to have all the "core" films in a tidy collector's set for both 4k and Blu-ray. As such, I haven't opened it. I'm not too concerned about the difficulty of retrieving the discs as the Blu-ray set for 1~6 had the same issue--the discs were wedged in there pretty good. As another noted, if you break the expense down from total cost (darn you sales tax!) divided by each disc, you're really only paying about the same price as you would if you bought them individually (give or take). All-in-all, a nice set for collectors or those who just want everything tidy/together. As far as the movies themselves, I leave preference/thoughts to the individual. ;)

Great set!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's great having the whole collection of Star Wars movies in one box set. On 4KUltra no less! I was 9 when the first Star Wars movie came out in 1977 and I have been hooked ever since. My only complaint is the box itself. While the box is beautiful to look at, each disc slides into a cardboard pouch on each page that's a little too tight to get the discs out easily without scratching or possibly damaging the disc over time. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. I actually wound up buying some regular blu-ray cases to put the discs in so they won't get damaged. Still, overall, a great set and well worth the money for any Star Wars fan. Highly recommend.

Impressive in 4k The Skywalker Saga is.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They really did a great job upscaling the series to 4K. The detail is simply stunning. I have noticed new details in certain scenes that I didn't see in previous versions. The picture quality is simply remarkable. The box is attractive and substantial. The concept artwork is a nice touch. Sure the discs are little hard to get out but so what. It's the whole Star Wars adventure in 4k!

Great for every STAR WARS fan out there!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.... What's better then the ENTIRE Skywalker saga all in one beautifully bounded set?! The enclosed 4k/Blu-ray discs set is held in a gorgeous holder that doubles as an art book with stunning illustration from the movies. A letter of appreciation from Mr. Skywalker himself, Mark Hammil is also included. Wrapping up the set are digital copies for each movie along with special features that are only included with this purchase.

The Skywalker Saga on 4K Box Set Falls A Tad Short
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, there's much to celebrate with this wonderful box set of Star Wars, but like most die-hards, it would have been a far greater set if they released the original unedited versions of Episodes IV through VI. True, the box is called the Skywalker Saga and thematically, Rogue One and Solo wouldn't really fit but they're both great additions to the Star Wars lore. Maybe I'm looking for a complete Star Wars box set that chronicles the whole cinematic experience. Am I asking too much? Still, this is a good box.

The best home video option to-date
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As-advertised, this will be the best picture quality you will get from this series. Some are definitely better than others, but I cannot say I am disappointed with this set. If you already have The Last Jedi UHD BD, be sure to keep it. This set came out with a different version that is missing the Dolby Vision. Despite that ommission, the new TLJ release is still very good. For fans, I cannot recommend this set enough, and the box is actually pretty cool for collectors.
