Best Buy is a great place to find value-priced movies to add to any collection.

It took me until the year 2015 to finally watch this much maligned Star Wars prequel trilogy. Although I heard the horror stories of these three films, I thought it necessary to watch them before the box office behemoth which is Episode 7. I am not a Star Wars devotee, but to be complete these films had to be watched. Episode 1 is alright as a set up film...somewhat childish (Jar Jar Binks). Episode 2 seems better but has a terribly fake CGI look throughout the film. Episode 3 is the strongest of the set with good action sequences and a great summation of how a key character in the universe of Star Wars was created. Not the greatest films...but definitely worth watching.

The second trilogy of the Star Wars franchise was better on Blu-Ray. Set comes with three blu-Ray discs as well as three DVDs

Star Wars in high def. Each movie is on its own disc (6 discs total). Product description says 2 discs which is not correct.

My family loves Star Wars and we went for the box set that was not in stock. So we got both sets of the shows. We love them!

The basic story for the prequels are sound, even if the execution (clunky dialogue, wooden acting) hamper this release a bit. Episode III is still one of the best Star Wars films, and really, would a Star Wars completest be without these?
