The first film with a young Anakin Skywalker is great. You really root for the kid. The second film shows good development of the testy relationship between a teenage Anakin and Obi Wan Kenobi. Anakin definitely turns creepy when around Padme Amidala! You can see that Anakin was held back and should have been encouraged to express his full capabilities, instead, the resentment he feels fuels his turn to the dark side. I would have given it a five star but that Jar Jar Binks character is too much. Happy watching.

The Star Wars movies are the best! If you were alive to see IV, V, VI when they originally came out (like me), then I, II, III will give more exciting background as to how the "Empire" got its start with Darth Vader. I was so excited when these first came out and still crave to see them (all) at least once a year.

Love it! But then again, how could I not? It's STAR WARS. I originally went in to get the complete saga box but after reading the box set I realized that it only comes with the 6 episodes and 3 additional discs of behind the scenes footage. Then I looked at the separate trilogy sets and saw that not only do you get the 3 Blu-ray Discs, you also get it in regular DVD format too. So in other words, you get two complete sets! Definitely more for your money. Besides, why do I need a box set? There's another episode coming soon.

I am not like some who criticize all aspects of any movie, and this series had something for everyone. Children liked the first and second then the older generation like the 3rd of this series, I love them all. They are part of Star Wars, and it is without doubt the Best movies ever and Best series ever...

This is a must have to any Star Wars fan that isn't a ridiculous snob. So the first one is weird with a forgettable character. We still have to know how Anakin becomes Vader and Palpatine becomes the emperor. Besides the Blu Ray with a 4K up-scaling player is so awesome you might forget about that other stuff.

If you are a Stars Wars Fan like I am then this set is a must have to your collection. The movies are crisp and clean and well worth the price to have in anyone's collection. I got both sets at 30 dollars and saved about 45% of the regular price. Trust me if you are a fan grab it when you can.

Honestly don't understand all the backlash against the prequel trilogy. There were a few cringeworthy moments, but overall it was neat to learn about the backgrounds of the characters and how the empire was formed. Plus Samuel L Jackson and Ewan McGregor as Mace Windu and Obi Wan Kenobi are great

I highly recommend for 5.1 surround sound. The cost was great found it on sale, nice way to down size all the single dvd's into three per trilogy now I only have two boxes instead of six discs. The picture is better in high def with the newer episodes the original looks about the same but the sound is better.

I've always been a big fan of Star Wars, but now I get to pass the franchise along to my kids. This was a great purchase.

I liked all 3 only because its Stare Wars. What I didn't like were some of the characters. Ja Ja Binks for 1, kid who played Anikin. Got a better understanding how Anikin was slowly manipulated by the emperor. Can understand how he wanted to save his wife at any cost, but even that cost was too high. Some of the dialog was not the best but that can be overlooked as a whole.

Comes with DVD and Blu-Ray, provides good quality HD video with nice surround sound effects and was on sale over the Holidays which made for a nice stocking stuffer. Six discs come packaged in one case, so no fancy steel case covers like the individual one for sale at Best Buy. Not a lot of extras really either that I can tell. If you just want the movies in HD at a decent price, this is it. You even get DVD's as backup for those extended weekend visits to the relatives with ancient technology.

I really enjoyed this prequel of Star Wars Saga. It has everything on it like when it comes to visual effects, story line and lots of action. I'm a big fan of Star Wars since I was young. Now I upgraded my movie experience to blu ray disc so I can appriciate to beauty of Star Wars Universe.

The prequel Star Wars movies all in one box set with 3 DVDs and 3 Blue Ray discs for one good price. More great sci fi action and drama to set up the classic trilogy movies. Great fun and characters for the whole family. Truly is a best buy!

I owned these previously on VHS and DVD. It is amazing the difference in picture, color and clarity. This is worth the money as the movies are a hit with my kids.

Finally got my kids to start watching the Star Wars Series and they loved it. Cant wait until the new one is out this December.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time now in blu ray ,looks great on my 4K tv I grew up with Star Wars so it's a bit shocking when I run into somebody who's never seen it , I just tell them to enjoy the movie and to remember that's it a 30 year old sci fi movie

I grew up on Star Wars love them all! The BluRay versions are AWESOME!!!! I love the sound, the crisp picture!!! It is wonderful!!!

My wife hadn't seen these yet. We watched the original episodes (4, 5, & 6) and because the 7 is coming out somewhat soon I wanted her to watch the first 3 episodes. I, like most, didn't like these new films...but I love the story so much I just had to own. I hate Jar Jar... I wish I could kill Jar Jar with my bare hands. I just hate him so very much. oh, god, why Jar Jar???? WHY???

I'm not going to review the quality of the movies themselves but of this bundle. The remastered quality is great, and it comes with both a DVD and Blu-Ray disc for each movie, which is especially nice if you want to share with family or friends.

This six disc set contains the three prequel movies that were produced by Lucasfilm as a sequel to the original three films. Although they continue the original Star Wars film legacy, the story lines do not seem to reach the level of the previous films. This set contains both DVD and Blueray copies of each of the three films and the special effects have been upgraded since the original films. They are definitely worthwhile to view and have in your Star Wars collection.
