Both DVD and BD. My small children have access to the DVDs, BDs are being held for a few years. These are not the "original" - the have newer edits. I'm not a hyper-purist, so not a problem. Watch for May the 4th deals!! It was a good Mother's Day.

Star Wars movies are iconic and deserve to be watched on the best quality technology there is. This set has 3 movies and was a reasonable price.

The blu-ray versions give an all new experience! Next to the Complete Star Wars Saga, this is the next best thing! The only thing missing is the extra 45 hours if your a die hard Star Wars fan. If you're not worried about that, get this collection!

Great picture Great sound, with the original movies. It's only missing the dvds but I have them several times over. Now if it only had the originals with 5.1 plus audio and no grito shooting first it would be as they said in Spinal Tap, these go to 11!

Purchased so my daughter could see how it all started. After watching the newer versions, the special effects seem old, but my daughter loves it and that's what counts. It is nice seeing them again in bluray. Quality is great. Didn't realize you're not supposed to watch in order. Some of the die hard fans told us how to watch the series and can't argue with them, understand everything better now.

Great to get episodes I-III on Blu-ray. I wanted to get The Phantom Menace on Blu-ray because I had this on VHS. Price was more for this one episode than this 3 movie set. Love having all on Blu-ray now. Great viewing on tv.

Purchasing these DVDs was awesome. I watched them with my wife who had not seen the original movies. It was marvelous to relive the emotions of my youth. Friends families have already asked to come watch them over our summer vacation.

The best is to get to know how everything started, and I really loved them because I wasn't a Star Wars fan and now I'm consider myself a fan, too. I really recommend this product!

Looking through the DVD section, was pleasantly surprised of the special location and attention getting POP display for the Stars Wars box set. Attracted my attention and thus purchase.

This purchase made sense, it was cheaper to get both trilogies separate. This came with blu-ray and dvd combo pack for all 3 movies. The 6 disc set was only blu-ray and cost more. Wonderful movies that made the most sense cost wise.

Best movies of all. Must have for Star Wars fans. I watched them in timeline order as opposed to release date and it was great to make sense of it all for once.

Our 13 year old was bitten by the Star Wars bug after watching The Force Awakens. We purchased the Episode IV-VI "prequel" package and bought this one for his upcoming birthday. We are looking forward to reliving the experience.

I am not faded by what anyone says, Star Wars movies are all great movies to me. This box set was super cheap and to have them all now in a couple box sets is awesome! This is a must get for any Star Wars fan!

Nice compact case, all 6 discs are in the single case. 3 Dvds and 3 Blu-rays. Paid $38.99 and well worth every penny for 6 movie discs. No HD Digital copy with this box set.

Was looking for the package that had the first 3 episodes in it, because he wanted to complete his collection. After he opened it for Christmas it was a extra surprise to find out that it was a Blu-Ray and Regular DVDs.

I Love the Star Wars Series. This is the greatest film series of all-time if you ask me. As someone who was born in 1982, I grew up on the original trilogy and feel the original was the best, but this series was good as well.

No household is complete without Star Wars. This is a great set for episodes I - III. I never watch the "extras" on a dvd/Blu-ray so this set fits my needs. I saw no reason to pay the extra money for something I'll never watch.

This movie set is great. I starts at the beginning of the series and fills in a lot of blanks from the 3 main Star Wars movies.

Glad to Blu-ray. These movies are definitely a five star rating. Always exciting and fun to watch . This is a big part of my movie collection.

This was gotten for my daughter to complete the series and she loved them. The younger gen seems to like this series better than the original - but I only was able to get through the first movie so far. I have not seen any other movies except the original ones. She tells me that watching these made the originals make better sense - she's only watched them like 3 times since Christmas!
