While the movies look great on Blu-ray there is almost no extras to speak of. Would shy away if you're looking for more.

Blu ray quality for the original trilogy is stellar. Any fan of Star Wars needs to get their hands on this.

Great movies had to watch these classic again. Have not seen them since they where re-released in the theaters.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew, wanting him to get the closest experience to the un-doctored original trilogy. Unfortunately, George Lucas has made sure that is an impossible task. Full of all the fun changes we've come to know and hate. Maybe one day we'll get an unaltered trilogy remaster and re-release.

DVDs run great.... BUT I bought the set because of the Blu-Ray disks and the high def. Blu-Ray quality. Unfortunately the Blu-Ray disks stop and skip frequently on my 2-year old Toshiba Blu-Ray player even though I checked for and downloaded all available software updates. Whatever I was able to watch showed me the Blu-Ray picture quality would have been great but I had to settle for DVD :(

Wish this version had more extras but I guess that’s always a wish for such an iconic trilogy.

Add digital scenes into the original movies to try and tie Episodes 1-3 into 4-6 detracts from the original movies...

It's not exactly like the theatrical versions, but a great gift for those new to the franchise. Definitely recommend.

Best video quality on original Star Wars movies. Wish the original 'non special editions' were available on Blu-Ray.

This is a great trilogy. Only drawback is that George Lucas added to many affects the kind a messed up the movies.

Star Wars is one of the great sci do movies(trilogy) of all time.If your a fan of the movies you have to get the blu-Ray.

I love my Star wars. When my old DVD's became too scratched I looked to pick up the Blu Ray disc from Best Buy

I wish they would release the original theatrical version on DVD, but until this happens this set is a good choice.
