The movies are great but the sound quality is not well balanced the action overrides the speech even after all the adjustments of sound I could do I my system , other films I do not have this problem

I had a hard time with this series as I feel the acting in all three of these movies is subpar. Being a Star Wars fan I feel you probably must own them, but they are not my favorites.

Yup it's that version. I got distracted by the box saying "original" trilogy. Turns out it isn't the original original trilogy. I feel like history has been lost

Really enjoyed the Blu-Ray. Just wish the could leave the added 'animation' or whatever you call it out. Outside of that, it was great sharing these movies with my kids.

These are the Special Editions, so Gweedo shoots first, NOOOOOOO, whacky musical sequence, etc. That said, the blu-rays are exactly as you'd expect.

Not the films I saw in the theater, but they are what I have to watch for now whenever I feel nostalgic and want to crank up the volume with my home theater.

Getting the original Star Wars trilogy for $20? Great deal. Not the “original” original trilogy and not a lot of special features? Not so great.

Would like to see original footage without added scenes. Jabba looks terrible and the cgi looks out of place

Love these movies. Nice to have all in one package. Not sure if keeping though, because not clear which version they are or of features included.

You don't really get any extras, but at least you get both DVD and Bluray discs. However, no digital codes!

Classic movie. Grateful for today's technology! But the nostalgia factor is worth the purchase

I was excited to purchase a Bluray/DVD combo set of the Star Wars Trilogy but didn't realize this was the "edited" version with the infamous Greedo scene and various CGI add-ons that really dated the movie. It's unfortunate! I wish I could return it, but alas...I cannot.

Would have given this 5 stars but had to return the set because one of the discs kept freezing

I'm definitely in the 'hate-the-Lucas-tampered-version' camp. The unnecessary additions are not only unnecessary but they are distracting. I love the original trilogy and would love to have them available in the best quality presentation possible. Until then, I'll have to roll my eyes as I fast forward through the new addition scenes.

Can not review this as I do not intend to watch it. Not a star wars fan, so...

I don't like how there is no option to watch the original cuts of the trilogy.
