Enjoyed what I’ve seen so far. All the discs are there but they are numbered incorrectly. #2 was actually#3, #3 was actually #4, and #5 was actually #2. But there are no glitches so far.

I bought the entire series complete a long time ago, so alot of this review is about the entire series including this first season. SG-1 has some of the best performances ive seen for a series, the charisma and acting is better than alot of the StarTrek series’s ive seen. The first season has one of the best pilots for a show, and you can definitely see the amount of love and dedication they put in the series to matchup to the movie. Over the course of the series, it explains how the first movie connects, since the two main characters are played by different actors and a few other details that the show changed from the movie. If you’re new to Stargate, then I definitely recommend watching, its truly one of the best Sci-fi aventures you’ll ever watch!

Commercial Free - This starts at the beginning - that is - after the original Stargate movie with Kurt Russell and James Spader. I got this on a whim at the bargain bin at a local BestBuy - If you like Sci Fi this series is pretty good - complete with government coverups. Seasons 2,3and 4 are due to be delivered tomorrow!

I got into this show years after it first aired and have been hocked sence. I would recomed this to anyone into Sci-Fi and aliens or if you just want to leave reality for an hour. I could watch this show over and over again. This seasons speical features include: Cast & Crew Featurette, General Hammond featurette, behind the scenes footage, and costume design featurette.

I really enjoy the Stargate Franchise and had someone managed to miss this original pilot for the tv show. So I had not seen how the movie's story linked up to the tv show's story. Now that I have it on DVD I finally got to put the two together.

this is the coolest show to watch. i could watch each episodes over and over and over and the special features are amazing. i would recomment getting this season and watch the episodes for anyone who likes scifi shows and to watch the special features.

wasn't sure about the show at first, but a freind told me to watch it and that id love it, and i got it and started watching and couldnt stop. ive seen evry episode of every season and loved everyone, great buy.

A must for Stargate SG1 fans. Contains 5 discs and they're all crystal clear with excellent sound

After catching season six on TV I decided to catch up from the beginning with the DVDs, and this was a great purchase. Admittedly the special features a a little weak, but it has all the unedited episodes of Season 1. this may be one of the best shows that aired on TV. Worth owning.
