Good Movie, But Not the Story in the Book
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are a fan of Robert A. Heinlein's Starship Troopers, you may not like this movie. The producer's licensed the name to give the movie greater commercial appeal, but it bears only a superficial resemblance to the book. That said, it is kind of a fun movie if you like the concept of space marines working tirelessly to wipe out some really vicious insects on another planet. It's a bit over the top, and very gory, but great visual effects.
