Love the 4k and atmos. Good movie. Would recommend. But nothing to write home about.

What can I say? Starship Troopers is a great movie with awesome effects. I can't believe it is 2o years old already. The 4k transfer is awesome and the steelbook is top-notch.

Found this flick in the budget bin and thought it was a great pickup for four bucks. A totally insane space cowboy shoot em up that is action packed from start to finish. Grab some popcorn and sit back for a wild ride. One of those watch it over and over movies that have you leave smiling.

I love this movie but I paid a premium to get the special steelbook available only at Best Buy. I usually don't purchase steelbooks but this one was too cool to pass up. It is nice that Best Buy offers collectible steelbooks for those that are interested in purchasing them.

The steelbook is not great either not bad, don't except 4k will get u the best video quality like all the new digital filmed movie, the bluray version is more smoother because they put the filter, 4k version is clear and because of that u did get a lot of grains during the dark theme which is kinda bugging me.

Interstellar warfare; intelligent "bugs"; people being torn limb from limb; Only soldiers can get to be "citizens"; Michael Ironside (Scanners, Total Recall) chewing up the scenery; and even a little social philosophy thrown in. What more could you want from a Saturday afternoon at the movies? Kitchy and worth a watch.

I’m so glad this film is available on 4K. Picture, and sound quality is way better than the standard Blu ray. If you’re a fan of Sci-Fi political ideology based on WWII then this is the film for you!

The view is awesome! This is an action movie all the way. Lots of bug blasting, some other graphic action, language and nudity. There is actually 5 movies in the series. The 2nd and 3rd were (IMHO) pretty bad as follow-up to the first. The last two are CGI and are actually better than 2 & 3.

Who doesn't love this movie. I watched it back in 97 in the theatres...a great war film that didn't take itself too serious...and one rule...everyone watches and no one blinks...or you're not a fan...do you get me....we get you sir!!!

Really good action sci-fi movie. Great quality picture. It has a lot of extra stuff to check out about the making of the movie,

There is noticable upgrade in visuals but now grain is visible vs regular hd. Also while the effects are brighter their aesthetics take a hit. If you love this movie get it. I returned due to this movie not having a code.

well what can i say about this movie. it was cool when it came out years ago and still lives up to it. a good bug is a dead bug. I was happy to see it came out in 4K looks great sounds great you wont be disapointed

Classic movie in beautiful 4k. There are 4k blu rays that were upscaled from 2k but this is one of the real deals. Plus the steel book artwork is pretty cool for you collectors out there. Definitely worth the purchase!

Funny old time Sci-fi movie that made it to 4K. Normally wouldn’t buy but had to when it was on sale. Now if only they will put “The Hunt for Red October” or “Bloodsport” into the 4K experience. Get it while on sale.

The movie didn't do that well because the satire was lost on American audiences. It's a really good allegorical movie about the dangers of fascism and the use of alt-facts to distort the public's perception. A war starts and no one questions how or why.

Added to my movie collection as will always stop to watch it when channel surfing. Looked great in 4K but picture quality nowhere near my favorite 4K films. Does hit the mark though if one likes this genre

Next to RoboCop, this is my favorite Verhoeven film. Hard-nosed satire at its finest, and looking better than ever on 4K UHD. Seriously, this is as close as you'll get to an actual print of the film. Stunning!

I’d you’re a fan of the film and love good-quality 4k transfers this is for you. The movie looks great, very film-like and crisp. It’s gorgeous and it has Blanche from The Golden Girls in it. Win win.

I remember when I first watched Starship Troopers in 1997 in the movie theater. There's nothing like watching it in 4k in your own home theater system. It's even better than when I first saw it.

Starship Troopers is such a special, gory, fun, satirical movie about politics and societal classes masked as a science fiction romp. All of its sequels suck in comparison, but this is worth several viewings.
