RS 232 to USB without complications

This hub is ideal, small, fast, no setup issues, low power requirement (we power from the USB).

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to send serial RS-232 signal to some new surveillance cameras we got. We have software to control the camera zoom/focus but the computer is too new to have a serial port (Win 7). With 3 cameras to control from USB this was the ticket. We just connected the included USB cable and there it was, the camera software can see each individual port and it just works. It even came with a mounting bracket that it can slide in and out of.
