This keyboard is fantastic. The switches are amazing! Great sound without too much noise, smooth as silk, and the ability to adjust is really nice. The lighting is phenomenal, the software works very well, the OLED screen is a total gimmick but an awesome one at that. The magnetic wrist wrest is really nice, too.
I've seen some reviews complaining about the stands on this keyboard, and that they collapse with force/when the keyboard is pushed. I do not know what these people are doing, I was very curious when I got it and I just cannot figure out how anyone had issues with the stands collapsing under some force.
Overall, an incredible keyboard. I feel it was totally worth the $200 price tag.
I have added HyperX pudding double shot PBT keycaps on since and wow I had no idea this keyboard could be even better. Highly recommend those keycaps. It also makes the keyboard sound even better.

SteelSeries Apex Pro – The Keyboard That Makes Typ

Let's start with the obvious: this keyboard looks like it was designed in a secret lab by mad geniuses who also happen to enjoy a good light show. The RGB backlighting is so dazzling, it might just be the closest I’ll ever get to owning a personal disco. If my neighbors ask about the pulsating glow coming from my office at 2 AM, I'll just tell them I've opened a nightclub for ants.
But let's talk about the real magic here – the OmniPoint adjustable switches. These things are like the James Bond of keyboards. One second, I'm typing out emails with the finesse of a seasoned novelist, and the next, I'm smashing out commands in my favorite game like a caffeinated cat on a piano. Adjusting the actuation point feels like discovering a secret superpower – one that's just a few clicks away.
Comfort-wise, it's like typing on a cloud. A cloud made of highly responsive mechanical switches, but a cloud nonetheless. My fingers have never felt more spoiled. The keys are so smooth, I half expect them to start purring. Plus, the customizable actuation points mean I can switch from writing essays to gaming without feeling like I’m adjusting to a whole new keyboard. It’s like this keyboard just gets me, you know?
Now, let's address the elephant in the room: the price. Yes, it’s not the cheapest keyboard out there, but consider it an investment in your happiness, productivity, and general sense of keyboard superiority. Plus, think of all the cool tricks you can show off to your friends. "Hey, want to see something cool? Watch me adjust my actuation points mid-game!" (Cue collective gasps and inevitable keyboard envy.)
In conclusion, the SteelSeries Apex Pro isn’t just a keyboard; it’s an experience. Whether you’re a gamer, a writer, or someone who just likes to pretend they’re hacking into the Matrix, this keyboard will make you feel like you’re on top of the world – or at least, like you’ve finally found the perfect typing partner.

I am not a gamer, but I absolutely love this keyboard. I have taken comfort for granted in my office for too long and finally decided to upgrade based on quality. This keyboard is comfortable. The keys feel really good and the pad to rest wrist on is great. The RGB color system is awesome and is pretty easy to customize. The volume control is also welcome. All of these features make this keyboard a no-brainer purchase if looking to make a quality upgrade even if not a gamer. I chose this over the wireless version due to the number pad as well as avoiding any lag times even if brief. Due to my setup the cord is not noticeable enough to bother me. The desktop purchased came with a keyboard, but doesn't come close to the feel and quality of this one.

Keyboard is one of my favorites. I use to have a steel series headset but I didn’t really like it but I kept getting recommended this keyboard but was hesitant because I thought I would have a similar experience that I had with their headsets. I’m not a keyboard enthusiast and really wanted something that was decent. This keyboard I would say surprised me because it takes two usb slots and doesn’t come with something to take off the keys caps to clean the keyboard or at least mine didn’t. What I like is the keyboard has a scroll wheel to adjust the audio and a fancy oiled display. You could get a custom oled design but my display couldn’t be uploaded. It also custom rgb profiles and currently have mine set to an orange and yellow color set. Got this keyboard for $150 btw. Also has a nice rest for your wrist.

Was skeptical at first of spending the bigger then usual amount of money for a keyboard, but within 5 minutes of using it was absolutely so glad that I did. From being able to change the color design on the fly with the oLED Smart Display to also being able to change the milliliter difference based on how much you want to depress the keyboard. The palm rest is a plus and the keypad is essential for accounting.

I love this keyboard! It’s very easy to customize to whatever I need it to do. The actuation adjustment is very useful to be able to adjust for people with heavy or lighter typing. The different profiles make it super easy to change the colors without going into the app. I love the screen as well. It provides a little touch to the keyboard that you don’t get from normal ones. Overall very happy with it.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I purchased this keyboard for work. I now work at home and thought I need to upgrade because I was using a really old junky keyboard. I am so excited to have this keyboard. It feels great to my hands. It’s easy to program the color combinations. I use the macros all the time. I was going to spend less and get a cheaper keyboard but I’m glad I bought the best of the best. For Glory.

Overall it’s a great keyboard. For its price you get exactly what you’re promised and would expect. The entire set of numbers and lettered keys are capable or having their actuation point changed, down to 0.1mm, which causes almost instant activation just by barely pressing the key, all the way up to 4.0mm, which causes you to need to bottom out the board in order to have the key register. With that, they also have the option of another setting which changes the actuation point of how far the key needs to travel upwards before you can press it down and reactivate it. This is super helpful especially for those that play rhythm games. I personally use it professionally to play Osu!, and it provides a smooth and responsive experience. Do keep in mind that as this keyboard does have usb passthrough, you will need 2 usb ports on the back of your device in order to make use of it. The lighting is great, and the knob for volume is smooth. The final thing this keyboard has that I haven’t seen on other boards, is a customizable oled display. You can play animations at 10 fps on it, and it looks phenomenal. The picture attached has 2 keyboards. The black one is the steel series. Board.

Hands down the best keyboard I’ve ever used. It has the quiet keys which I greatly appreciate and the keyboard is SO comfortable. The wrist rest is magnet detachable. On top of it being super comfortable and good looking, it has a small programmable screen built in. I’ve used a lot of good keyboards from different brands but this one is the best.

My last keyboard was from was 2011. If i love something i make it last. But with a new build i had to get new peripherals. This has been amazing so far. And by amazing i mean i like the look and feel. Ive changed the key caps to customize it and the software is amazing if you take time to learn it.

I've used a lot of keyboards, but this one... This one? This is the bread and butter, an entree and free refills.
This is the only Omni-Point keyboard on the market...
The lighting is epic...
You can type light and quiet like a ninja, or type hard for a satisfying soft, dull clack that isn't obnoxious.
In other words, is this keyboard worth it?
Answer: Absolutely.

So great I bought a second one. Hands down (pun intended) the best keyboard for gaming and for work. The ability to change the amount of pressure needed to use the keys is by far amazing. I have the lightest setting for typing all day while working and another setting set to firmer for intense gaming. If you need a keyboard for whatever the reason may be. This is your keyboard.
