The only issue I'm having with this is when I'm in Xbox Party Chat, some other peoples' voices sound a little echo-y compared to my Astro A10. It doesn't happen to everyone though and my friends say they can hear me very clearly when I use this. I didn't see any way to adjust the audio profile. The manual said something about an app but I didn't see anything on the Google Play Store so I'm just going with the default sound profile, which works fine for games and music. Seems to charge quickly. I'm usually just gaming for 4-6 hours at a time and have never gotten a low charge warning, but it does go in to yellow at about 6 hours for me. Has good range for me, it stays connected anywhere in my one-bedroom condo. Feels decently well built and is very comfortable, unless I'm wearing my glasses. Wish they would've made the charge port USB-C. Overall, works well and is easy to use. $100 feels a little steep for what you get but that's the going rate for wireless headsets so it is what it is.

I would give these headphones 5 stars, but I couldn't. The only problem is the fact you cannot adjust voice chat and game volumes separately. In order to adjust the custom sound, you have to jump through a lot of hoops on the Steel Series Engine app. So if you're not very audio tech savvy, this is a complicated process. With that being said, the comfort, the sound quality, and durability are great for the price of the product. Much better than Turtle Beach 600's for the same price. However, Turtle Beach headphones at least let you adjust chat and game volume separate. Thank you

Great Headphones With a Little Too Much Clamp

The Arctis 1 Wireless is for Xbox is a really solid gaming headphone. Especially for people who have both PS4/PS5 and a Xbox, this will work wirelessly on both, unlike the regular version of this headphone (won't work wirelessly with Xbox). I used this on the Xbox, PS5, and PC and was super impressed by the seamless switching between devices.
However, I did end up returning these as they were hurting the lower half of my ear after using for a few hours. They definitely have a bit of a clamp to them but seemed to loosen up with use, but they are still not ideal for multiple hours of use.
If you are okay with the clamp on these headphones, they are a solid option, even without the 7.1 surround sound capability.

I love these! They’re super comfortable. I love that they’re wireless and can be used with my computers and my Xbox. The audio is crisp. I use them for work, so I can’t really comment on using them for music, but they’re great for video calls.

At the time there were no reviews on this which scared me a lot. But after reading several reviews about it online on different platforms I decided to roll the dice and purchase it here. Now I’ve worn different headsets over the years using somebody else’s and this was worth every penny. The earpiece is a decent size and my ears didn’t get hot after wearing it after several hours. I do wear glasses when I’m gaming and it felt comfortable with them on, didn’t feel the need to readjust every other minute. There’s enough padding on it as well as to others it feels like there’s none and downloading the app is always helpful. There are more expensive & better headphones yeah of course, but what you get out of these and the price point you will not regret it and will last you a good amount of time!!!

The headphones are comfy but can become a bit cumbersome and uncomfortable for longer gaming. The headband is a tough cushion that needs to be broken in. Great for smaller heads but a bit tighter on adults. I wear a medium in hats and helmets and it still fit a bit snug.
When you go to set it up, make sure you assign it to your xbox profile or else no one will hear you speak into the mic.
The good is an insane amount of battery life, very VERY good sound quality and the microfiber ear cuffs are great for hot days.

I kept reading reviews and watching videos on YouTube about this headset and I’m glad I bought this because not only does it work with my Xbox one X, it also works with PS4 and other consoles. If you are looking for a headset and want to use it for Xbox and PS4...get this headset! Make sure to get the xbox version of this headset because there is another one that is for PS4, Switch, Etc. and that one won’t work with xbox.

I'm very happy with these overall. I do wish you could turn the earpieces inward to collapse it down a bit, but at least the microphone is removable. The microphone quality is not bad according to my friends on Xbox Live, but it's not particularly impressive either. The build quality overall is solid; they feel a lot better than some of the "plasticky" alternatives. The wireless reception is pretty good; I can still maintain a conversation from an adjacent room, although don't expect to be able to do so from the other side of the house. This Xbox version is compatible with almost anything, and it works just as well in wired mode as in wireless if for any reason the wireless dongle does not work.
All that said, the headset required a firmware update before I could adjust the volume and "game-chat mix" from the Xbox settings. And to that effect, the firmware update process was poor. It froze around 60%. Others online suggested restarting the PC if this happens (despite the words of warning in the application.) With no progress on the update after a lengthy time waiting, I finally restarted the system. My PC then failed to boot properly. I don't know if it was a USB issue, or if it was the SteelSeries Engine software, or if it was just a coincidence that a Windows update or another piece of software happened to break something at the same time.
When I finally got my PC back online, I attempted the update again. This time, I followed the troubleshooting steps on SteelSeries' website, including running the app in Administrator Mode. This should be something the app prompts you for BEFORE attempting the update; not something I have to dig up on the website AFTER the update fails. Regardless, the update DID work, mostly. The software volume control does not always work correctly, but the game-chat mix works fine.
Overall, the headset is nice and a fairly good value for the price compared to the alternatives I'm aware of. The firmware update was a one-off thing to enable the game-chat mix functionality, so I wouldn't dock more than one star.

I waited a couple of months to write a review on this because I've been in headset hell for about a year now trying out different headsets only for them to stop working completely a month or two later. This headset still works beautifully. The charge lasts a long time, too. It was easy to set up, and it's comfortable. I ended up going out and buying a second one for my husband as a gift. Highly recommended, quality headset.

This is my first wireless headset and I truly enjoy it. I ordered it Wednesday and got it Thursday talk about fast shipping. I highly recommend this headset. I asked my friends if if sounded different they were like “you sound so much better” and I felt so good about my self. This headset is truly AMAZING for the price. :)

I bought this for my son's 15th birthday, and so far so good. It's made of a decent quality material. It doesn't feel to heavy or to light. The sound quality is great, especially considering that I usually just buy him cheap headsets because he's so hard on stuff. It was easy to connect after I read the instructions, lol. The battery charges in a timely manner and lasts for a good amount of time. The detachable mic sends foldable ear cups are a convenient plus. This is my first purchase from Steelseries but I am now a fan!

This is kind of my own fault as I had not done my research prior to purchase however at the price it is I expected more features which is on me for not tempering my expectations and not doing enough research. I wanna to state something which is that on it's own this quite a good pair of headphones the audio is nice, its pretty lightweight, and the mic doesn't feel very intrusive.
however what is does not have is an EQ function as in a way to lower game audio/raise party audio. another feature that would have been nice to know if it had or not was mic monitoring. Again these are things that I expected but had I done a couple minutes worth of research would learn does not have an EQ functionality. so not by any means at the fault steelseries. I do wish on more websites it would more in depth as to whether or not the headset has mic monitoring. I understand that it isn't something everyone desire in a headset however as someone who has grown fond of it on my astro A20's it was very jarring to go to a headset that doesn't have it.
something of note is that with my pair after a couple days I started to experience some audio cutting in and out hence why I returned the headset on top of everything I mentioned before.
All in all I think it's a good headset that is lacking in some features, that if you're coming off a headset even something like Astro A20's you'll notice the dip in features. I think I learned a valuable lesson here in that DO YOUR RESEARCH before dropping $100 on a headset or before purchasing anything for that matter. stay safe, be smarter than I was.

It was between this and the Turtle Beach Stealth 700s since I am a Turtle Beach guy. I chose to ignore my initial inclination for the 700s since they have a lot of mixed reviews about the app experience and longevity and I'm sure glad I did. Battery life and is phenomenal. Build quality is very nice for a midrange headset as well. Mic and sound are on par with some of the more expensive headsets as well. All in all this turned out to be a perfect headset for me!

No complaints, this just works wherever you decide to stick the dongle. Perfect for the Switch and none of that annoying Bluetooth delay. Comes with every cable you need. Also love that the mic detaches. I don’t think i’ve ever run out of battery on this thing. Sound is what I would expect for the price and no discomfort after long sessions at my PC.
