I dont really play a lot of multiplayer games that would require a headset. I have been playing 1 game on and off with a friend. I was using the mic off of the PS Camera, which is not ideal so I thought I'd invest in a headset. I wanted a headset where I'm not paying too much for something I will only use here and there. I cane accross these and they looked cool. The pricing on this pair seemed affordable so I went with them and after trying them out they are great! They are very comfortable, even during long periods of gaming. They don't feel too tight or too loose. The sound is great. I am able to hear the game's audio as well as my friend. Even with multiple people, I was able to hear everyone just fine. The mic is good, I have not had an issue where someone wasn't able to hear me. The mic is a good length away from you so it's not annoying and it's detachable and retractable when not needed. There's also volume dial and mute button on the headset for easy reach. I've only been using them for PS4 but they're also compatible for other consoles. They even work for phones if you need a pair. Haven't tested them out to see if the mic works for calls, though. If you're looking for a good pair of affordable headset for gaming, I definitely recommend these!

So, I'm weird about having a book mic. I think they look "nerdy". However you can't beat the sound quality of them. These headphones sound great, are really comfortable, are wired and don't need to be charged, and yes have a book mic that sounds awesome, but is also retractable, and the quality (while not as good as when extended) still sounds great! Volume knob is helpful and also has a mute button if you're not feeling chatty on COD or Apex.

If you're expecting crazy full 7.1 surround sound then I would suggest looking at more expensive models because this will not do what you need it to do. Although if you're looking for a good headset with a good amount of sound and well working mic just to play with friends, then I would consider this at the price point. The headset is comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time and the sound is not spectacular, but it doesn't sound cheap or tinny either. Good amount of bass and volume for the price.

Theyre okay, I suppose. Its my first pair of over-ear headphones, and I really wasnt all that impressed. I was told that they have incredible sound quality and that they block out tons of exterior sounds, but that didnt hold true. -I can hear just about everything going on around me when i have them on, even at loud volumes. -i have to turn my phone/device up much more than i usually do to get decent audio levels. -the audio cable used to connect them to devices can be tricky to plug into the headset. The slot is very small and i have to push the cable in more than i think is necessary to get it to function. Might just take some getting used to *On the other hand:* -audio is usually pretty crisp and clear at louder levels -theyre pretty comfortable, i almost forget im wearing them at times. -they look good and arent too bulky I havent tried the mic out yet, but im sure its pretty decent as well. Overall, it wasnt what I expected it to be and doesnt really do for what i needed them for, but theyre pretty good for the asking price. I'll surely find some use for them

Updated review. So this is a great sounding and feeling headset. Comfortable and just great. That was about 1 1/2 years ago. I don't use it all the time and it looks new still but now it is having trouble staying connected to my ps5. The sound drops then comes back briefly and repeat. I love this thing so I'll replace it with another one again.

These things are awesome!! Super comfy. I like the fabric ear cushions rather than the leather/pleather. They don’t get your ears hot. The giggle strap is great. No pressure on the top of your head. The sound is comfortable. Nothing too crazy. Really well balanced. I like that you can hide the mic away when not in use.

I have bought a handful of under $100 headsets and this one was the best. Its very lightweight, comfortable,and durable. It’s sound and microphone have the qualities of something that would be around $100 or more in my opinion.

The audio is good for the price nothing necessarily outstanding it gets the job done. Microphone quality is not the best but is good enough for casual gaming. Lacks a bit of bass but other than that the build is pretty nice and is very comfortable for long periods of use.

Bought yogis on sale, great value for the price. Very comfortable but is fairly heavy. If you have a strong neck you’ll be fine. Don’t care got the micro usb connection on headphone side but fine otherwise.

The microphone is excellent, and the sound quality through the headphones it’s great. It’s a sleek looking headset, it’s really comfortable and you really can’t find a better headset out there for a price like this. Highly recommend it, and it came a day early. Thank you steelseries!

Not too expensive; audio is awesome whether it’s for games (mostly NHL 22 & GTA V) or streaming music on Spotify. The frame is fixed; you can’t slide them apart to adjust the width/size. There’s a headband part to it which feels MORE COMFORTABLE than physically adjusting the frame to your head. The mute button is right beside the volume knob and THAT does take getting used to. Love them so far, though!

This has got to be one of the the most comfortable pair of headsets I've used for gaming. The quality and build of the headset is great and I love that you can store the mic inside the headset when not in use. The only gripe that I have with the Arctis 3 is that there is no separate control for chat volume which is a slight issue when you are trying to listen to your game and people in your chat party are continuously talking. This can be easily fixed however by changing your chat mix in your systems setting on the system (speaking as an Xbox player). The sound quality is pretty good but could be better when it comes to bass quality, and the low end sounds. In the end this is an amazing mid range headset and I would recommend it to anyone who does not want to pay $100 or more and is looking for something that can be used for hours of gaming or to transition between multiple systems or devices.

Audio quality is great, no complaints with these. Biggest thing for me is comfort, these fit great and do not make your ears warm like other headphones. Retractable microphone too is a great touch

Bought the Arctic 3 Console Edition to replace a Hyperx Cloud Alpha that went bad. Honestly for a $70 headset it's the better value all around. It's lighter, more comfortable, has a better microphone and sounds better to me. It has a removable cable which is replaceable if needed as well as ear cushions which can be changed out. Simple on eat volume and mute controls so you dont have to fumble around with online control. Sounds great as I mainly player shooters and can detect enemy locations and such with incredible ease. Honestly a great headset if you are on a budget or just want to save money. This one does everything the $100-$150 headsets do and does most better.
