The surround sound is amazing. The app it comes with is easy to use and offers a lot of customization. Unfortunately what the box doesn't tell you is that the RGB lighting only works when connected to a power source which essentially makes it a useless feature on consoles.

Found this product on sale for less than the cheaper model. Background noise is drowned out all i hear are the games and movies that i want to. Mic picks up to deliver clear audio to any of my friends that i may be playing with. Worth every cent.

Had an old pair of Astros that I needed to replace. Got these and they're great, really comfortable, fit great, sound is great. They work on all platforms and the mic is clear. Great buy and for the cost you can't go wrong.

Really comfortable. Customizable and well built. I wish they could be louder but I am hard of hearing. My wife also uses them. She's been through almost every Razor headset and loves the Astros.

I bought this when I took back my Corsair Void headset. I strongly prefer the Steelseries Arctis 5. Great sound quality, crisp tones, and decent bass for the price. And the ease of use on the Steelseries software is a huge plus.

Plug and play, excellent sound quality, excellent mic, very comfortable with adjustable band, light weight, sound controls are easily accessible, and robust. Excellent product.

I needed a new headset and after doing some research online, came across the Arctis 5 headset from SteelSeries. I made the purchase and the headset arrived in a nice package. Wearing the headset is comfortable, though I do wish the ear cups would be a bit more noise-cancelling. The microphone is solid and the build quality feels good. Some minor nitpicks -- it's too easy for the volume adjust wheel on the back of the left ear cup to be moved when taking the headset on and off. I also wish the voice chat/game audio slider that comes with the headset had a bit more weight to it so it would more easily stay in place. Other than that, I've found it to be a great product.

These headphones are great overall. The sound is wonderful and you can clearly separate audio from the side it’s coming at you. The only downside of these headphones is the strap that sits on your head is slightly loose even at the end of the Velcro. I would still highly recommend overall.

Bought for an MSI laptop. I was immediately impressed by the sound quality. The chat/game mix controller is brilliant. Extended low frequency response. The surround sound is not as good as the razor tiamat, but this runs solely off of usb, and is decent enough for a 3rd of the price. The chroma color conveniently matched my keyboard as it's a steel series also, so that was an added bonus. The headset changes color to match the keyboard as it cycles through the millions of colors on its palate. I recommend this set to anyone looking for a decent priced surround headset.

A great headset for all around use. Works great with PS4 and PC. Sound is great through the headphones and mic works well when chatting with others. After adjustments does not pic up everything around you. Has a mute button as well which comes in handy.

The product on the other hand. I read plenty of reviews on and after consulting with the rep(Joey I think) I purchased. And have been nothing but pleased. Great sound. Great mic quality. RGB looks great. I leave mine off but I messed with it in the Steel Series program and it works well and has plenty of versatility. 2 thumbs up to Best Buy. As normal. :)

I was initially tempted to get the Arctis 7’s for the wireless capabilities. I decided to save myself the $50 and just stick with the wired ones. I didn’t end up trying the 7s so I can’t really compare the two but I am happy with my purchase. The sound quality is excellent. I had a pair of turtle beach XO4’s before that I used on Xbox one. Now that I game on pc I needed something more compatible/customizable to use. The sound/game chat toggle works well and I like that it’s separate from the headset itself. The rgb lighting is mostly pointless but I do like them when it’s hanging on my computer. The ear cups are comfortable for Kong gaming sessions. The pressure is just right and I think the giggle strap at the top is a good design choice. It’s much more comfortable than the turtle beaches. Overall, great buy.

I could not be more happy with these headphones. They have incredible sound qaulity and even better comfort. The RGB is a plus as well.

Had turtle beaches after a few hours they would get very uncomfortable and had a terrible tendency of having the wires come loose and you lose sound out of one side or the other.The cable for the arctis seems to be made with more durable outter materials, haven't had any issues with that. These headsets you barely know their there, have gamed for 9+ hours no discomfort whatsoever. Sound quality is great granted their is no bass control but honestly don't even need it. The comfort factor alone makes these worth trying and I'd highly recomend them to anyone.

These headphones are incredible. The sound is crisp, the bass is rich, but not too overbearing, and they are seriously the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. I would have given this product a 5 out of 5 had there not been this tiny problem. I use these headphones for my Xbox One. Apparently it's a small known problem that if you use these on the Xbox One that anyone in your Xbox Live party can hear an echo of themselves when they talk (on their end), and can hear an echo of your game audio at loud parts of the game (on their end). There is no rhyme or reason for this. Just speculation. The fix is to downgrade to the SteelSeries Arctis 3 Headset, or to buy a 4 pole, 3.5mm Audio Cable that can attach to the secondary 3.5mm Audio Port on the Arctis 5 headset. All around though, this is the best headset I've ever had.

These pair are very confortable and sounds really nice. RGB is sginfincabttly beautiful when playing at night. Super buy!

Sounds great. It had been close to a month since I played some PUBG and my first game back used these headphones and won the first game back with 11 kills cause I could hear what direction everything was coming from.

As a gamer's dad and knowing nothing about specs, my son was super excited to open this present on Christmas and was impressed with my purchase. THANKS TO THE SALESMAN AT BEST BUY! Great product at good price.

These are wonderful headphones! Fit well, mic sounds great, and I feel like the sound quality is great as well!

Lots of controlability. Multiple volume controls. On headset Mic mute. When not using Mic, it can be pushed back into the headset. Great surround sound. Bonus color changing led. Overall great headset.
