To start with these headphones are so comfortable, much more so than the PS Golds. The audio quality is impeccable and you can dial it in to whatever your preference is using a computer. The battery lasts forever as well. I play a couple hours a night and the battery lasted about a week right out of the box. Definitely a great purchase

These headphones in my experience, have treated me very well. Wasn't expecting too much out of these considering my past experience with steelseries, but they have nailed it with this lineup (Arctis 3-7) It was not difficult to set up at all, and the little cable management is definitely acceptable if people are a bit stingy about space. Audio quality is excellent and the battery life is ridiculous (for the better) I especially like what Steelseries did with the mic where they allow the user to simply pull out and push the mic back into the housing inside the headset. All of my friends that I use the mic with can hear me loud and clear, a bit better than the hyper x cloud 2. My only suggestion for people that do buy these is to download the Steelseries software and update the Firmware on it (not required, but should do it in case something happens) If these just happen to be on sale someday, I would definitely suggest picking these up 100%

I use headsets a good bit for work, so I have a few specific requirements. First, comfort is king. This rig fits the bill pretty well. The pads are very comfortable and can breathe compared to some that have a less "permeable" material. I will admit, they tend to be a little bit heavy though. Not terribly so though. Secondly, sound is important. I listen to music throughout the day, but I'm no audiophile. As long as I have good bass and clear everything else, I'm generally pretty happy. I have no complaints here. Thirdly, functon: These headphones function well, they are not complicated to set up either. When you power them up, they connect to the USB dongle instantly. They hold a charge pretty well, and they charge relatively quickly. Fourthly, form: The retractable mic is great. I love being able to stash it out of the way and out of sight when I'm not actually speaking with someone. I also like the red LED which notifies you when you have the mute switch on. Speaking of buttons and such, there is a scroll wheel for chat/music, a scroll wheel for volume, and then a mute switch. Then a power button that also indicates battery level (Green, yellow, red); Overall, I'm very happy with these. They replaced a cheap pair that felt cheap, looked cheap, and functioned as well as they were worth. These are great headphones and I'll be buying another pair whenever these bite the dust.

I had read many review about these headphones. I went to my local store to try them out. The other models I looked at were impressive, specifically the Astro A50. The Astro was a very good headset but it was twice the price. The reviews I had read stated that Steelseries Arctis 7 was the best bang for the buck. Hearing/Sound is very subjective. I also like the Turtle Beach Elite 800 but had a hard time justifying paying double for the Astro or Turtle Beach. Unfortunately the Steelseries were not hooked up and I was not able to test in store. I took a chance based on other reviews and decided to pick these up as I could return them if I was unhappy. At the end of the day my friends have told me that I sound very clear,. They seem to have zero lag, are easy to setup and are very comfortable. Besides that...they sound GREAT! They have rich full sound with quality presence and lows. My only complaint is that my ears stick out a little bit more than most and so there is an ever so slight rubbing on my ear on the top edges. Others may not have this issue and I only really noticed it after the first day or two of use.

For a wireless headset, you can't go wrong. It's compatible with pretty much everything out there, although the 7.1 is dedicated to PC. Weight/feel is a 5/5. Sound is a 5/5. Battery life is a 5/5. For the money, this thing kicks a**. No complaints, and my primary headset is a HyperX Cloud 2...

Purchased for gaming. Great sound (no noise cancellation or ability to allow outside sounds into the sound stream). My only complaint is that the fabric band that adjusts to allow for sizing the headphones on the head, is too short. I would have like the ability to have a little more latitude in the sizing. I do find the cups fit a little too tightly as well, but these are like most other headphones in that regard.

So I have had 7 different headsets from borrowing them from friends(2 both of which were practically brand new), to having 3 break before the return policy of 15 days, and 2 I thought they were terrible for the money. First off this was the best I tried of the 7 I have had in the past three months, it doesn't do 7.1 for consoles my only downfall even though I don't buy into it I believe the tech for 7.1 helps in other ways. The most comfortable And had the highest quality sound my list would be this 1. SSeries Artemis 7 2. Logitech 933 ( also very comfy, great sound, no console 7.1) 3. TB px5 (old school) 4. TB 800 elite (broke in 10 days, uncomfortable for long play, good sound though) 5.after glow ag9 (great bass, and comfy) 6. TBeach 520 ( decent sound, not very comfy, very cheaply made, connector from band to earphone broke 2x) 7. NEW Sony platinum (terrible all around, very very uncomfortable, same pleather earpieces still that are not good, below par sound) 8. Ps gold complete waste of money(old review of the golds they still are the worst ever). Artemis 7 hands down number 1

When I first saw these headphones I was a little put off by the design. They seem kind of blah and simple for the price, but they had the best reviews and the exact specs that I wanted. When they arrived I was thrilled at the quality of them as soon as I took them out of the box. The ear pads feel like soft memory foam pillows, and the ski band adjuster is super comfy (I use these for taking calls all day at work in addition to gaming). They are solid but not so heavy that they give me a headache after wearing for a few hours. I have them 4 stars because sometimes people on calls cannot hear my voice well even with the volume turned up (mic is right next to my mouth per user guide) and when I record training videos my voice seems super low. They also auto shut off too quickly sometimes which is a little annoying. Otherwise these are fantastic and I highly recommend. The sound is superb for listening to music or gaming.

Great headset, Clear sound, Very comfortable and can use on all systems with easy setup! Would give this headset 5 stars but software updates sometimes makes the headset unusable until you do a factory reset.

I thoroughly researched on gaming headsets and settled on getting this one the Arctis 7. The sound and battery are amazing. I play every night for 3 hours Overwatch and I only have to charge it maybe once every two weeks. It's super comfy too with the ski style strap and easily adjustable. 10/10

Bought this over a year ago and i'm still using it. Wireless quality when using connected to a PC is outstanding. I don't think I could go back to wired. The battery life is pretty amazing, i don't often have to charge, it lasts that long! It's a bit on the heavy side, keep that in mind if you may be using it for long periods. I do really love how the headset sounds, i normally use the "studio" preset so the music is clean. I add a bit of extra bass response which is not muddy at all and is a nice addition. The software for the PC experience is nice, and they have given constant updates over the months which is great for longevity. Overall really impressive yes it's a little on the pricey side but it's a good clean sound and the no wires attached is fun because i can get up move around and not have to worry about yanking wires off my pc. If undecided give this a try if you're new to wireless.

The very best headphones I've ever heard are the Alienware Ozma 7s. These are close to that quality, but absolutely beat the Ozma in features. Positional audio works really well. Dolby Atmos for Headphones sounds good (when it works--but I blame the Atmos app on that one), and most useful of all is the dual volume controls: one is overall volume, the other is a dial that balances the loudness of your game versus chat. The battery tends to last 10-12 hours for me and it's useful to be able to charge while using. You also get a wired headphone jack to plug in if you'd prefer. One interesting note is that positional audio sometimes means you want to let your game's settings be "headphones" or "stereo" and let the headset do the surround separation. I would definitely buy this again and I recommend it for a gamer who wants good positional audio and a great balance between game sounds and chat.

I am a console gamer 100% and am not a fan of the console headset options - specifically PS4 sets - and have been searching for something better. After all of the "These are the best headset out there" reviews I gave these a try. The sound (after tinkering with the steelseries engine) is pretty great. They are very clear and work well with the PS4. The fit/comfort is incredible relative to any TB or Astro set I have ever owned. The only downside with these is that the chat audio cannot be controlled from the headset when being used with the PS4. I play a lot online and have run into many issues mid match where the chat audio was too overpowering and ruined the rest of the sound coming through. This can be adjusted on the PS4 menu, but that gets annoying when everyone seems to talk at a different volume. Other than that one issue, they seem perfect for what I am looking for and would recommend them to anyone looking for a gaming headset.

When you open this product at first glance everything is put in a neat way in the box and theres not 10000 things to rummage through in the box. Set up on pc was super easy, all the drivers were pre installed and the headset was pre paired with its reciever (I use windows 7). Very comfortable ear cups and head band and is adjustable. Sound quality exceeds what you would expect from a headset this price, and the mic quality (for being a wireless) is the clearest and well made ive ever heard. Mic is retractable if youre like me and dont like having the mic sticking out whem you're not using it. Only thing wrong with this product is the adjustable head strap... had to fidget with it avout 10 minutes before i got it to be exactly the way i want it. It also tugs the ear cups a a little bit if you dont adjust it to your head just right. But i wont dock it for rating for that reason. Overall a fantastic headset if you're a pc gamer!!!

I was looking for a reliable, well built pair of headphones that I could use at both the office and at home. They are designed in a way that doesn't look like a normal pair of gaming headphones, with all the glowing colors (you know what im talking about) the headphones are extremely well built, and sound incredible once you have the steelseries software installed. Highly recommend.
