This is a great wireless headset that is comfortable and works really well.

I would say overall I like these coming from the PS4 Gold it was a big improvement. I does take a bit to get it comfortable because the head set does not really adjust up and down only pressure from tightening the strap. Audio quality is great, but you cannot adjust game/chat volume on the fly on PS4. Or I haven't figured it out.

With most wireless headsets, there's always some sort of tradeoff; inferior audio quality; poor mic quality; poor battery life; etc, These Arctis 7s may come at a premium price, but you get what you pay for. The audio sounds great, even without installing the software package (which you have to download from the Steel Series website). While not of professional quality, the mic is more than adequate for live broadcasts on sites such as Twitch.tv if that's your thing. The battery life is also great--I think the packaging or website rates a fully charged headset for about 11 hours of use, and I'm getting more than that, about 13 hours before I get the beeping notification for a low battery. You could save some money and get a decent wireless headset for a little less money, but I'd go with the Arctis 7 if you can fit it into your budget.

Using for PC gaming. Sound is great, battery life awesome, and very comfortable. Worn for 2-3 hours at a time and no discomfort. Replaced an old cheap wireless headset. A little more for this one, but happy with it.

Out of the box I was going to return these. I did research before buying and thought they were going to work for the PS4. After downloading the software and updating the firmware on my pc , these worked up to my standard. I hear things I didn’t hear on my turtle beach headset. Great headset.

this Is the best headset I’ve ever owned. I normally stick to Astros or Turtle Beach but I really like my Steel Series keyboard and mouse and decided to give these a try. The elastic band makes them super comfortable and there is a surprising amount of customizability if you want to fine tune them. Very easy to set up and use.

Comfortable, great battery life, the ear cushions breathe so your head doesnt get hot like some other headphones. Audio sounds great. When using on consoles you don't the full 7.1 experience so keep that in mind.

I did a lot of research before deciding on the Arctis 7's. My goal was to upgrade from wired gaming headphones to wireless. I had the Astro A40's and loved the sound, but I found that for long gaming sessions they were just to heavy. I liked the idea of the Arctis 7's where the headphones sit on top of your head using a ski goggle suspension band. I was unable to find a demo pair to try on before purchasing them, but took a chance anyway. After using them for several weeks now, I love the way they fit (very comfortable) and pretty much everything else about them. Only con I have is I wish they had placed the mute button on the mic itself rather then on the headphone as I sometimes fumble around trying to find it.

The set are very comfortable for long periods of time. The sound quality is high and the battery lasts very long. The retractable mic is high quality and lights up when muted which is a great feature.

Pros: - great sound when wireless - very comfortable (kinda) - decent range Cons: - if you wear glasses, these will be uncomfortable after a while. - the sound quality when you plug it in with the headphone jack, is not comparible to when it’s witeless. - 7.1 surround sound makes it sound like you’re in a bathroom and your sounds are echoing around you. It just doesn’t sound that great. (I don’t even play with it sense it messes up my gameplay. Rainbow 6, battlefield, etc.)

I've owned many headsets over the years. I've been nothing but impressed with the comfort and sound quality of this unit. I love the ability to fade between both voice chat (Discord) and game audio. My only criticism is that he initial setup in order to get both channels to work was a bit tricky. The setup of both channels require a change in Windows settings for audio - Default Audio and Default Communications channel was easy...getting the software (Game/Chat) to recognize the settings required both multiple a restart of the games and restart of the computer. This might have been a local (me and my computer) issue rather any issue with the headset and the headset software.

I'd say that this is the best wireless headset in the sub $200 category. Great battery life Good sound Fits slightly tight but I prefer it that way. Good mic.

I have been using arctis 7 headphones for a while now and they sound great. Mainly they have been used for tv played through the pc. Gaming I have not tested fully yet. They are comfortable but not at first. I had to stretch them out before I could wear them. I just placed them on my leg and it seemed to be the right width to make the headphones not give me a headache. Just for people that are sensitive to the pressure from headphones. I can't even wear a cap cause it hurts my head so bad but I can wear the arctis 7. I recommend giving them a try. Hope my review helps others.

I went through 8 different headsets (sony, astro, etc). my goals were simple. 1. Wireless, 2. Active feedback in from the mic (meaning i could hear myself talk in the headset) 3. Great environmental sound (hearing things from the direction that they come from). This headset gave me all those out of the box! this was a big selling point because so many required you to download their software and "tweak" the headset to get the performance you wanted. This is great for people with the time, understanding and ear for sound. Myself I've got two small kids so taking ANY time to setup a headset is time i don't get to play.

This is the most comfortable headset I've ever worn. Between gaming, music listening, and audio production I have used and owned an abnormally large amount of headsets. The strap and ear pads are the most comfortable I've ever felt. The microphone is also the best I've ever experienced in a gaming headset. The broadcast style mic is incredibly clear and the software is pretty great. You clearly hear yourself in your ear, which is adjustable, so you don't shout constantly. Only thing I don't like is the glowing red light when the mic is muted. But I tend to use push to talk in games which avoids the need to mute the mic. This headset is the best.
