These are exceptional comapred to other brands I have owened. I know the RGB lighting is not a big deal but certainly adds a nice touch espically when paired with the Steel Series / Sonar mixer which I highlt recommend for tuning and setting the equalizer. These are very immersive and really put you in the game. I can hear foot steps in FPS and details I normally miss when using desktop speakers alone. I also tested these with some music and am very impressed with the range. The lows are clean and don't get muddy and the highs are clear without being peircing. I also like that these comes with cable extensions for aux and usb-c along with a long usb-c (female) to a usb-a (male). Lastly, these are quite comfortable and fit over my ears and don't mash them against my head which can get painful. I've worn them for 2+ hours at a time without removing them with no issues or ear fatigue. I like these over the Nova 1 due to the slightly better frequency range and the RGB lights where a nice touch. Definitely recommend!

The SteelSeries Arctis 3 offers great comfort, clear audio, and a sleek design, making it a solid choice for gamers. The retractable ClearCast mic delivers good voice clarity, while the lightweight build ensures long gaming sessions stay comfortable. Though it lacks premium features like wireless connectivity, its strong performance and affordability make it a great value.

The SteelSeries Arctis 5 is a solid mid-range wired gaming headset that excels in sound quality, comfort, and communication. If you’re mainly a PC gamer and don’t need wireless functionality, this is an excellent choice that punches above its weight.
Perfect for gamers who want reliable performance and sleek design without breaking the bank.

Still have these 2 yrs later & wow I love them! Super comfortable! Always worked. Cable is easier to replace, need be & looks brand new still, good material. Great Mic.

it’s good i like the audio quality and the way the muffs fit on your ears the band to support the headset it nicely made too but tbh this staticky sound started happening maybe a week ago when you move the cable a little bit but it’s nothing major

Bought this for my son and he seems to enjoy it. It seems comfy and is light. Can't say anything on the sound quality. The reason for the loss of stars is because the screws that connect the ear cup to headband keep falling out, making the headphone fall apart! Questionable build quality.

Honestly great headset for the price. Got the wired one because I didn’t want to drop a lot of money for another headset since I have an Xbox and that costed me 200. So I wanted something for PS5 but didn’t want to drop a lot. This was the perfect choice yes it wired but if you can get past that the headset is amazing.

I was really in shocked when I put on the headphones and I heard the sound that came out of the speakers from the headphones. It was amazing. I would recommend everyone to grab a pair of these headphones. They are awesome. I bought it for my DJ set up I think it was worth it.

This headset’s audio is so much clearer than my inzone Sony headset. The Steele series’ audio never glitches when it reaches high frequency so that’s what I enjoy. I recommend this headset, for those that don’t like wired headsets don’t get this but for those who don’t care go ahead and get one.

The value of these headphones are on real! The surround sound as well as the high volume makes for insane clarity as well as good bass. Don’t get me started on the microphone! I have an $200 mic yet it still compete’s with it. And the topper of the cake has to be the software, insane flexibility as well as control with sound of headset as well as mic! Overall would totally recommend for a budget to mid range setup!

I don't love the steelseries software, but the hardware for the headphones themselves has been pretty good so far. The only issue is that the headband doesn't have very many settings to conform to different head sizes, so it may not sit well on your head.

These headphones are great for the price. I normally buy the most expensive headphones and realized this time around that I didn’t need to. These have the quality and for first person shooters, the footsteps are easy to hear.
