[Employee of bestbuy] This headset is a good and comfortable fit. I like that it has mesh ear pieces instead of the imitation-leather materials common in headphones and headsets. Also, the variety of connectivity options makes it very easy to use with multiple devices. I personally use it mostly for PC and steam deck gaming. I use the included usb-c connector for the pc and the Bluetooth with the steam deck. There are two separate power switches for Bluetooth and usb connectivity, making it easy to differentiate which device I am connecting to without it trying to pair with another. They can also be wired with 3.5mm cord, which comes with it.

Amazing sound good for any type of listening and still gives you good sound positioning and foot steps for the competition. I love that you can use Bluetooth and hear in game audio at the same time and take phone calls while playing. Personal cons. Most people say these are comfortable but wearing for long periods of time these hurt my ears. I wear glasses and and have probably a large head and not huge but big ears these where not that comfortable for me. Id prefer the blackshark V2 pros for comfort. I also don't like that you can't remove the mic and also requires both hands to extend and retract. And the headset fits loose so if you bend over they might slip off.

Bought these for my 23 year old. They broke before 90 days. Called for replacement under the warranty and thus began the MULTIPLE emails that required me to submit photos of damaged product for them to review. Each email asked that I submit the previous pictures plus an additional picture from a different angle within so many days of receiving the email. It took almost 1 month of emailing back and forth before they decided the headphones were covered under the warranty. AFTER receiving the replacement I then had to submit pictures of the damaged product being destroyed per their instructions. The new headphones lasted about 4 months before breaking. Did I submit them for a replacement? NOPE because I don’t have time to email pictures back and forth. For what you have to pay for these headphones, they should be better quality. Just in case you’re wondering if my son was tearing these of his head to throw them and scream at the screen…the answer is no. He was taking them off using both hands on the ear pieces. One of them broke off the headset and was dangling by the wires (side note: the sound still works but you can’t wear them). This is the same thing that happened to the replacement headset as well. My husband says not to bother with the warranty; just buy another pair - not this brand though. I am giving it 3 stars because the sound and mic (per my son) are really good. Also, the fact the sound still works even though the wires are being stretched by the ear piece dangling.

Overall they are comfortable for long wear and heavy use. The audio quality is decent. I feel like my older corsair hs55s skinded better overall. I do like the slide away mic but wished it shut off when not deployed. There are ways to shut it off but on the mics where you flip it up they shut off why not this one. The battery life has been good so far. I usually charge it every 4-5 days after use. Have not had any disconnecting issues. The software used for settings and firmware update could be a little more user friendly. It seems like they jammed everything into the interface instead of putting a well thougt out product.

Have to use the Steel Series App to make these even somewhat decent. I have the original SS headphones and they were great so I got this upgraded version. Regretting it a month into owning them, even after spending tons of time tweaking them in the app. They are loud, however the sound proof-ness? of them are horrible. I can literally hear my dogs nails clinking on the wood floor while gaming. Its very faint, but you can hear it in the background of whatever game you are playing. TV on in the background? You'll most likely hear an echoe from that in your headset, although faint, it's there and definitely noticeable and ruins the immersion. Also, make sure after turning on the power button you also turn the bluetooth button on or else it will sound like you're listening to your audio in a bathroom. Once bluetooth is on, it sounds fine, but like I said be prepared for the background noises in your household making their way into your headset. The fact that there's even two seperate buttons is beyond me too, yeah you can use them without the bluetooth on but the quality is horrible without it on. It honestly sucks and I wish I hadn't tried giving these a chance for so long as now I can't return them. Especially for the price, I'm not impressed in the slightest.

I’ve enjoyed the upgrade from the artic 7 the previous discontinued model. Audio is great and the sonar app makes it better for use on the PC. 1 star is removed because the mute button was not working until 50 presses later a few weeks after purchase, probably unlucky but still worth mentioning.

Nice headset, fits well, easy to hook up, sounds good. Only negative I have found so far is the ability to balance party chat voices and game sound seems missing like on my Astros, but there may just be a setting I need to tweak.

These headphones are a really good middle ground in the headset industry. Very light and comfortable on the head, as well as carrying supreme sound and noise cancellation. Definitely a good choice for someone looking to get a nice headset, but without spending 3-400 dollars on it.

I was looking for a pair of witeless gaming headphones aftee the cable broke on my Corsair HS60’s. I love the built in/retractable microphone with the red light to indicate that you’re muted. However, the drivers are a bit small and lack bass for explosionns in games and music listening. However, they do have much more high-end sound great for FPS gaming and hearing footsteps. The Sonar software leaves some things to be desired (there is a great EQ, but it has like 7 different modes, each of which show as a separate output in windows). Overall I enjoy these headphones and would recommend them to friends, but certainly not audiophiles.

After almost exactly 2 years, the right side has just died out. Over the course of the 2 years, it's been a struggle connecting this headset and getting it to work with Windows. This might not be the headsets fault, but I don't plan on buying wireless again.
