Crystal clear voice audio and good sound for gaming. Not a lot of bass for the price range.

Definitely a good headset for casual gaming. The audio is balanced, not too much bass and not too much treble. The mic quality is the only downside to this headset.

I previously used the Nari Ultimate headset, and after losing the USB stick it comes with for bluetooth connection, I was in search for a new and similar quality of headphones but without breaking the bank. (The Nari at the time cost me 199.99)
These headphones are the real deal. No, they dont have any fancy LED lights like every other headset out there, but exchange a bland/boring looking device for crisp and clear audio and youll be gaming like no other. There is absolutely zero latency while using my budget gaming laptop, and the audio isnt as instense as the Nari but provides the same scale of surround sound. Me personally, I dont mind listening to regular gameplay instead of feeling like im in an Imax theater paying Apex with the Nari Ulimate.
These headphones are without a doubt worth it 100%. I have issues with computers and i dont like digging into the settings and files just to make headphones work. These are just plug and play, has a very long battery life and charges super quickly for even longer game sessions. I can walk to the other side of my house between several walls and still hear my party just fine. I am not sponsored, but BUY THESE NOW. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. I WAS RELUCTANT BUT THESE ARE SO WORTH IT. TAKE MY WORD FOR IT FROM A FELLOW GAMER. YOU WILL LOVE THESE.

This is my second pair of Arctis 7s. The first I bought years ago and have performed wondefully ever since. The only change i would recommend is to replace the ear foam as the factory foam can get hot and my ears rubbed inside. But once that was resolved, these were GREAT.
This second pair I bought for my kid, and when the time came to make a choice, I didnt even bother with the other brands. Steel Series headphones are legitimately awesome, they make ergonomics matter and dont just go for flashy design.

They sound great, work okay, mic works well and it's clear. Their software is a must to get it dialed in to your sound taste.
I actually returned these due to the fact on a Bluetooth call, the headset reverted to a horrible 90s phone sound for ALL audio, even usb and aux... If you don't plan on making bt calls while listening to anything you want clarity on, they'll be fine.

Very good headset and easy to use! After using these for about a month now I can say this really is a great headset. I used to be a loyal Turtle Beach customer, 3 headsets in a row over more than a decade, but since they haven’t released a new flagship in awhile, I decided to finally give the competition a try.
For starters the construction is great as you should expect from a $150+ pair of headphones. I’ve always been wary of the dual band (solid segment and adjustable strap or part) because it essentially makes 2 points of failure in addition to possible balance issues but thankfully, the 9X has a metal support band and it feels fantastic. It keeps it centered where you place it on your head very well and should last much longer than a plastic band. The strap surpassed my expectations. It is easily adjustable and the flexibility feels like it was made specifically for putting something on your head, not to mention it is soft and doesn’t cause chafing at all. The earcups are essentially monolithic solid pieces. The only piece that is a worry for failure, especially from fatigue, is the connection between the earcups and the band. It is just a single piece of curved plastic and not all that thick. Its connection points between the band and earcups seem to be metal standoffs or similar (bearings and whatnot) so that should be okay (it's the general design SteelSeries has been using for a long time so I assume it works). They hopefully shouldn’t be all that load bearing but it is the only segment I would improve in the design. The volume scroll wheels feel good, not too loose not too stiff.
