Once you relent to using steelseries software the headphones work great and sound great too. Microphone is solid and the comfort is great. The dual bluetooth and dongle allows you to connect to your gaming rig and take calls from your phone at the same time which is really convenient.

I absolutely Love this new headset. I was reluctant to spend the money at first, but these are easily the best headset I have ever purchased.

Highly Recommend: The Steel Series - Arctis Nova 7 Wireless Gaming Headset for PC has exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I unboxed this Headset
The first thing that caught my attention was the comfortable ear cushions.
The retractable microphone is a feature that I didn't realize I needed until I had it. The convenience of tucking away the mic when not in use is unmatched.
In conclusion, the Steel Series - Arctis Nova 7 Wireless Gaming Headset for PC is the perfect blend of comfort, functionality, and superior audio quality. It is more than worth its price

I replaced the first generation of the Steelseries Arctis Pro wired version with these and they work great. I love the wireless capabilities and the sound is as good if not better than my old headset. The battery life on these is insane also, I have had them for almost 3 months now and I have only charged them a handful of times. Would recommend for anyone looking for a somewhat budget friendly wireless headset.

Best headphones I’ve used in years and that’s coming from someone who only used Logitech pros for the last 3. I recommend these to anyone who wants the edge for audio

I like this headset. But the more I use it, specifically with SteelSeries' GG software, the more I get annoyed. The "Sonar" feature is buggy and overwhelming. It splits your audio into 5 different adjustable channels so you can mix them easier. But I don't need 5 channels, let alone even 2.. Windows has built in audio mixing, so does every app, I don't need layer on layer of volume sliders.
The amount of random mysterious bugs I've encountered with audio have all funneled to Sonar being the cause. I had a bug where I disabled Sonar as to not flood my audio output options in Windows, and my headset got stuck at 100% volume. The only way I could lower it was the physical switch. Enabling Sonar would fix the issue, but I didn't want Sonar enabled..
You can't remove or hide the Sonar channels, so you'll have like 4000 audio outputs and it's frustrating and annoying to navigate through them honestly.
The concept is cool on paper, but wow, it's poorly executed and just ends up being a convoluted nightmare.
Mic quality is garbage, audio quality is... okay.
Dual connection is awesome, simultaneously connecting to my phone and PC is something I've always wanted. It works well enough, very few bugs there.
I can't really recommend this headset because of the pain that is the software.

I had to replace my old Arctis 7 headset because it just fell apart after years of use. I was disappointed that my prior headset didn't hold up to the rigorous use I had put on it over the 5+ years of owning it, but I understood. Having been familiar with the steelseries headset and noting that this was the newest version of the headset I had grown attached to, I opted to give this headset a chance. The headset worked well for several months, nearly a year to be exact before it just started to act up. This headset doesn't stay connected as well as the prior version when walking away from the computer. It also doesn't seem to hold an impressive charge, I have to plug it in more often than I feel I should. The wire that came with the headset seemed nice at first but either it or the headset seem to act up from time to time, not recognizing the connection (the port & computer are fine). Multiple times per week the headset will not be recognized by the steelseries sonar app and I have to go in and manually change my device. Disabling all other audio devices helped, but it still won't recognize it even when its the only device! And lastly, and the most frustrating complaint I have, is that at random the headset just completely dies. It has battery charge but it just shuts off and no amount of holding the power button will turn it on. You have to remove the ear cushion and reset the device with a paper clip or something small enough to fit in the hole, holding the button for 30 seconds. Then you have to re-attach the ear cushion, which is completely annoying to do, and re-connect the headset in the steelseries engine and sometimes sonar app.
This headset is an absolute nightmare to deal with. When it does actually work its not bad, but the amount of time wasted trying to fix it is just not worth it, especially with the high price tag of a premium headset. AVOID THIS HEADSET.

Has everything you need in a headset. Wireless, decent wireless range, great audio both games and music, nicely built, and great battery. Also the Sonar options in the steel series gg program is amazing and many default options for popular games to make the headset sound even better, they even have a setting for deep bass or clear vocals for music lovers.
The fact you can use it to watch YouTube videos on your PC and play Mario Kart on the switch and hear both at the same time is amazing, and I would buy the headset just for that.
Only 1 complaint would be there is a faint static noise if you are on high volumes , but it is not there all the time.

They sound great, work okay, mic works well and it's clear. Their software is a must to get it dialed in to your sound taste.
I actually returned these due to the fact on a Bluetooth call, the headset reverted to a horrible 90s phone sound for ALL audio, even usb and aux... If you don't plan on making bt calls while listening to anything you want clarity on, they'll be fine.

A well built gaming headset that feels sturdy and sounds good. The mic leaves something to be desired, though, but it does the job. Battery life is solid, and the Bluetooth feature works seamlessly on iOS.
Make sure you turn off the headset before charging though, as it got stuck in a weird state after I forgot to one time where it wouldn’t turn off and only play a loud static noise. The reset button in the hole under one of the ear cups is your friend in case this happens.

Great adjustable fit, great sound with customizable equalizer. Bluetooth ehile playing games is awesome. Every once in a while the audio gets scratchy for a few moments but then goes back to normal "connectivity issue with the dongle" overall good headset and would recommend.

These are, by the dollar, the best headphones on the market. Insane battery life, total voice clarity, comfortable, and durable. Only headphones you'll need.

Do what you want a headset to do. Sound is good, mic is fine. Comfortable, controls are ergonomic. Construction could be better, but it also keeps it on the lighter side. Issues are with the PS5 Audio Auto Switch integration. It doesn't work properly. So you have to do it manually everytime you want to switch between your main audio source and headset. Not a huge deal, just a heads up to future buyers. Overall it's a great headset for the price.

I really like these headphones. The sonar program is east to use even though there is a lot of tweaking you can do. I’m excited about the chat mixer. I haven’t used it much, but when I play warzone, I like to hear my teammates better and it’s nice to be able to turn down if I need to hear enemy footsteps. Still trying to find the best setting for footsteps/enemies nearby. There are a couple presets in sonar. Overall a great headset especially the Bluetooth feature where I can answer calls if I’m in middle of a game
