Great headset, I’ve loved every second of having it.

All headsets have this problem, and this one is no exception — they don't really go over their compatibility with Macs. These ones worked, sure. They were nice and comfy and the mic quality wasn't bad. When I listened to music on them, they worked fine. However, when I went into a call (via Discord), the audio and mic quality dipped considerably with no way to change it. There is nothing on the packaging or manual that states that the Steelseries software works on Mac. It does, but nothing of considerable note changed about the headphone experience. I could not change anything about that clear audio experience shift between being in a call and not being in a call, which was super annoying. I don't get why this is a problem, or even if it's a Mac-related problem to begin with. Good quality headphones physically, but took a downwards spiral when using them on Mac. I will have to return these.

Decent build quality. Solid sound on some settings out of the box but the steel series software was a nightmare to use. With a lot of tweaking you could some nice stuff but the balance was all off.
My particular model cut in and out and was not interested in trying a new unit.

I had another set of Arctis headphones and they were quite good and so when I no longer had those I bought this model with confidence. Misplaced as it turns out. The features of this set are really cool and the instant connection to the computer is great. They're also reasonably comfortable even if they don't offer the adjustment the other pair I had did. But the sound quality... oof, man, it's bad. Not just for a fairly pricey headset, but bad period. Definitely do not listen to music with these. You get better sound quality with a super budget set of headphones or earbuds at a fraction the price.
