I was in search of a dependable headset that had good range when having to move around the room. I was really happy coming across this product and extremely impressed with the range. I can literally move around the entire house and still have great quality sound / mic. The headset sits on my head perfectly and covers my ears without any un-comfort. Out of the box it was easy to plug in and use with the computer , Playstation and Xbox that I have. The only issue is the audio quality requires advance familiarity to truly maximize the quality. I ended up having to go through YouTube to properly configure each individual equalizer band along with the advance sonar sound range. If you choose not to go that route it still sounds nice however not worth the money paid for. Only when properly configuring the audio you truly get your money's worth. The mic is super sensitive and pics up the voice without any issues. I do like how you can extend the mic cord closer to your mouth. The only issue is even with the settings you still hear yourself ever so lightly so for some that can become annoying. As with the audio, Mic settings must be customized in the equalizer as well, otherwise your voice sounds very flat. However once you properly customize, your voice will have the nice deep and rich ranges. The battery life is amazing and the multi feature of bluetooth + dongle connection allows for multiple methods of connecting your headset to multiple functions. For example connecting to discord while playing FPS game on PS5, or when a call comes in , it picks up the call and lowers the overall volume of the game. Overall this is a great product however requires a TON of customization for audio and mic.

Sound quality is very good. Connection to multiple devices at the same time is possible - one through bluetooth and one through the included USB-C dongle. My complaint is that while there is a volume adjustment to control between the two sources (that is, turn down the bluetooth volume relative to the USB-C volume), that does not work when the USB-C input is a PS5. I am typically using this as a gaming headset on my PS5 and listening to music etc. via bluetooth from my phone, so being able to adjust the volumes relative to each other on the headset would be nice. It appears that this is only an option when the USB-C input is a PC.

My family seems to be on an endless search for a durable, great sounding gaming headset. I have 3 sons that seem to go through their headsets quickly for some reason. After, using these Nova 7s for a while I think this might be the one, they settle on. As soon as you take these out of the box, you can feel it’s heft, not in a bad way. Not like it’s going to weigh on the crown of you head and cause discomfort, but like it’s a quality product. The earcups are nicely padded, the band and outside of the cups are sturdy and allow for flexibility for a great fit. The knobs, I love that they aren’t buttons, for sound volume control are great and easy to feel. The power and Bluetooth buttons are easy to use as well, as is the mic mute button. After using this headset for a few long gaming sessions, I can say that they are very comfortable. No heating of the ears for me, or discomfort around or on the top of the head. The only thing that I am a little unsure about as far as build goes is the retractable mic. I haven’t decided if I feel like this is a great way to make sure that the mic stays safe when not using it, or if this will be a weak point that might fail from use, I am hoping the former. The SteelSeries GG software offers an incredible amount of customization to an already stellar sounding headphones and mic. Even when tuning the Spatial Audio setting, I love how you can set the separation of the 7 areas and chose to focus on Immersion of Performance. The software can be a little overwhelming with the number of options, but I would recommend with using some of their preset configurations as they have some for just about every popular game on the market. Then, when you have time delve into the software and really make the sound your own. This is a phenomenal gaming headset. Great build quality and comfort, impressive sound, and a quality mic really make for a solid package any gamer would be happy with. The only thing that some might not like is the lack of any RGB lights, or that the mic doesn’t mute when you push it back into the headset, you need to make sure to click that mute button. Neither one of those were issues for my use case, but I could see how some might be deterred by them. If you are fine with those two things then these are an easy recommendation.

I had the Steelseries Arctis 7 for a long time before deciding to try out this new Arctis Nova 7. This is definitely the successor to that older headset that made me a Steelseries fan. Compared to the old 7 the Nova is substantially more comfortable, sounds better, and has nice improvements such as USB-C for charging and Bluetooth capability that allows simultaneous use with game sound. It really is a very nice upgrade in nearly every way. My biggest complaint is the microphone has a different shape that makes it a bit harder to push back into its space within the left ear cup and no longer has the red LED that would indicate it was muted. Otherwise, the controls are mostly intuitive with volume wheel and the mute button on the left side and Chat/Audio mix wheel and combo power/Bluetooth on the other. That combo button is frustrating to use, it is not immediately evident how to even turn off the headset because holding it down like I do with most other devices of the like just turns on Bluetooth pairing instead. You can run the included cable to make it a wired headset if you choose or use the 2.4Ghz USB-C based dongle for wireless play on PC, PS4/5, Switch, or mobile. Thankfully the dongle can also be used with the USB-C to USB-A extension cable to avoid covering up the USB-A port on the front of the PS5 with the dongle itself which is another unfortunate negative. Lastly it includes a USB-C charging cable rounding out the accessories in the box. The old gen headset used their “ski headband” which I found very comfortable although I had to use it on its largest possible adjustment for my big dome. The Nova has evolved that design with a stretchy inner band that hooks onto a few different points and the earcups can also be adjusted in or out of the headband independently. This makes it even easier to get a proper fit for us large headed individuals and is extraordinarily comfortable. I can wear it for many hours and barely notice it’s there and that is perhaps the most important aspect of a headset for me outside of pure sound quality. I like being able to sync up my iPhone to it to be able to hear any important notifications or take a call, and the mic is more than up to the task for both calls and game chat. I am told it sounds clear and crisp. Sound quality is very good, I can hear everything around me and 3D audio on PS5 is in full effect. I’ve heard both better and worse in headsets but again compared to the older Arctis 7 it is an improvement. Cap it all off with all day battery life and it’s a very solid and compelling choice. I am happy with it and recommend it.

This has been a great headset with an easy to use connecting system with the adapter. I’ve had issues with using this for different applications like switching between discord and in game audio. I’m not entirely sure if this fault is with the headset or the software within the PC or the steel-series app. Literally the only issue I have come across is this and the only reason for 4 star.

Headset is good and comfortable there is a low level speaker output that is audible when no sound is coming out from the speakers still generating vibrations but overall a good headset. Being able to use Bluetooth to a phone and gaming sound at the same time is nice you can play music or have a phone conversation without removing headset or disconnecting from game simply mute game mic and talk on phone with headset mic.

These headphones are great for an overall standpoint. I use them for a variety of things such as gaming and online class. The spatial audio is great after you get the tuning right. Can be scratchy and off if you don’t. The overall comfort is great. They come with an auto off after a time of inactivity which is great because I often forget to turn them off. So the battery last multiple days. Overall I think they are great.

Feels light to the touch around the ears, but also strangely secure. I wear glasses and it doesn't press into my skin to the point where it hurts after a bit. The sound quality is pretty great. The battery life and especially the charging speed is astounding. Only knock is how awkwardly shaped the wireless plugin is. I run a PC and it's not a great fit for the tower, but it comes with a wired extension to compensate.

I have a back up headset because this seadaet disconnects on location for no apparent reason. It also picks up background noise more than my other headset. Other than that, the headset is very comfortable and the sound quality is great for the price.

I’ve owed this headset for 2-3 Years now. Absolutely no problems whatsoever. The connection on it is very stable. The sound quality of the headset is very crisp and the setup is extremely easy! You can never go wrong with a wireless Headset. I wouldn’t recommend using the microphone included in the headset due to the headset being wireless, The quality isn’t the best. Other than that the headset works amazing, Super light weight no pressure on your ears.

I picked up the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 wireless headset to use with my Steam Deck, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade. The sound quality is crisp and balanced, with great clarity for dialogue and plenty of depth for music and effects. Wireless connectivity has been reliable with no noticeable lag, which makes a big difference when gaming on the go. The headset is also very comfortable for long sessions. The adjustable headband and lightweight design sit nicely without causing pressure or fatigue. Battery life has been strong as well, easily lasting through multiple gaming sessions before needing a charge. Setup with the Steam Deck was quick, and the controls on the headset are intuitive. The mic sounds clear, and being able to mute it instantly is a nice touch. If you’re looking for a dependable wireless headset that pairs well with the Steam Deck, the Arctis Nova 7 is an excellent choice.

I previously had an older arctis steel series model for my gaming headphones and enjoyed them so expected these to be a good fit. After getting them I can confirm that this was a good purchase for me. The wireless capability works without any problems although i still use the wired connection to my ps5 remote so I dont need to charge. The comfort is better than my previous model and the mic is also very clear for my friends to hear. Overall i am very happy with this product!

Excellent and reliable headset. Fast charging for quick and easy game sessions. Great audio. Simple and user friendly buttons and volume access. Super convenient pull out mic that doesn’t feel awkward when not using mic, and feels like a headset. Comfortable for long use. Only con is that the mic picks up everything. Would love a voice filter to drown out the background when gaming. You’ll need to adjust the sensitivity on you mic.
