This is a very nice headset and extremely comfortable. The level of sound and comfort here is second to none but the price is a bit high. Like it but don’t feel it’s worth the full price.

Before these I was always using Turtle beach and there is no real comparison. Comfort is far superior in these and so is the sound quality. The ability to use the Dac and just the sound to your liking makes it even better. Definitely never going back from using steel series head sets.

Like most others have said, these are extremely snug and I have a small head. After about 30 minutes they start hurting my ears. I think you need flat ears to wear these a long time. But they are light weight. Look nice. The sound ... well, that's kind of hard to pinpoint. Mids are crisp. There's not a lot of bass so the overall sound is clearer. It's like a trade-off. The mic is clear when you speak but you still need to had rd it positioned close to your mouth so it picks up sound. It's not bad if you have to l the right size head and ears.

I’m not going to lie, I bought these fully intending to return them. I just wanted to see how they compared to my A40s so I could feel superior that I own the best out there. Now, four days later, I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to explain the $250 Best Buy charge to my SO. No way are these going back. I’ve been gaming since childhood and have gone thru countless headsets over the years. These, by far and away, blow everything else out of the water. There’s simply no comparison. Where to begin? Fit and finish are impeccable. These are super high quality and really good looking; I can actually see myself wearing these outside, which I would have never done with every other headset I’ve owned. Set up was painless and more intuitive than I expected. Audio is unlike anything I’ve ever heard before in a gaming headset. Who knew Rainbow Six had so much depth of sound? It’s changed my game play as I’m now hearing things in places I hadn’t prior and I’m really getting a sense of distance that I never had. It’s incredible. Bottom line, these are the game changer I didn’t know I was waiting for. Anyone in the market for some used Astros?

Really love the comfort and look of the headphones! Sound is amazing and the dac customization adds layers to an already superior experience. Optical sound with ps4 pro really pushes these headphones into the number 1 spot for me. Well worth the money.

Using them on PC and wow! Sound quality is great and comfort is top notch! Lightweight, nice clamping force to hold them in place. The gamedac is awesome for adjusting on the fly without needing to tab out of a game. $249 is steep, but well worth it.

This headset sounds terrific and has a very handy DAC to control what you need. IF you're only planning on PC use and have a smaller head this would be a great buy for the sound. BUT for me this headset was too small and would cause pain on my ears. Also if using with an optical cable you will hear a faint click every 3-5 mins regardless of source.

The headset sounds great, mic works well, and due to the strap style on the headband it's one of the most comfortable I've ever owned. The main reason it's a 4star instead of 5 is that the GameDAC, instead of sorting sound between chat and game through one device is only really intended to do so between multiple audio outputs (headset/speakers, etc), when the whole point of wearing a headset is that you're not using the speakers.

The sound quality is excellent, but the headphones themselves are a bit uncomfortable. They're a bit on the small side, so if you have a big head like me, they'll be even more uncomfortable. You can expect to have to remove them after a while due to discomfort. The complaints are not deal breakers, by any stretch, but they're still something to consider. Again though, the sound quality, and overall performance, is about as good as you could hope for.

This has to be the best all-round headphones that I have ever owned. The build quality is outstanding. The padding on the ear cups are very comfortable and the mesh-like fabric helps to keep your ears cool during many hours of game-play. I did, however, replace these with Microsoft's newest wireless headset as I preferred the convenience of a wireless pair. But when it comes down to it - if you do not mind a wired headset, then this is currently the best pair on the market. The sound these cans give out are simply unrivaled (from the 20 or so pairs I have tested) in both games and media. True, they are expensive, but they are also the best.

The sound quality is amazing. You can hear every detail when playing video games and listen to music. They fit comfortable and can adjust to any size of any head small or large. I use these for my PC and PS4 mainly. The only downside to these headphones is that they are not wireless. If you are going for wireless PS4 headsets, do not get these. But you can always get a longer extended wire for these headsets. Other than that, I enjoy using these.

I've been looking for a good PS4 headset for a while now. These sound GREAT for the PS4 and the Game Dac works amazing. Make sure your PS4 setting volume is turned up all the way. I use them for COD & God of War and you can hear everything.

The DTS surround sound they use is kind of crap, but the hi res audio mode sounds incredible. They’re very comfortable and have a fantastic microphone. I got these as a replacement to my A50’s which had a microphone that would always cut out on PC, this on works flawlessly and has easy controls to balance between game and voice audio.

The headset sounds great, when you can get the audio levels between multiple open windows to work right. Having discord and a game open at the same time would often cause the volume levels in game to fluctuate. Otherwise they sound great. Biggest reason these are not for me though is the fit, as they are a bit tight on my head.

They sound amazing! The only thing with me was that it was a bit too tight for my head. I don't believe I have a massive head but after few hours it was bothering me. My brothers and friends didnt have any issues so thats why I'm giving it 4 stars. Good headset!

I wanted a wired headset to replace my Astro A50 wireless set. I read reviews and took the chance. Glad i did. The sound clarity and quality with these is really impressive. They are really comfortable and have a nice easy set up. Playing a game is awesome as you hear all of the footsteps and jumps from characters that are close to you. If you are listening to music, you will be impressed with the fidelity that is on offer. I can't recommend these enough!

I've used the following headsets for PS4: Turtle Beach Stealth 500p, lucidsounds ls3p, Sony gold, Sony Platinum. Hyperclouds. Out of all these are the best I have ever used. Sound is crisp. It's easy to dial them in between chat and game. I like the led. The DAC. 10/10

This is by far one of the best headsets i have purchased in the last couple of years. They are comfortable to the MAX! The sound is amazing and so is your mic, so the other guys in the lobby say. This is one of the best headsets for console gamers if you ask me, dont believe me? Just try em out yourselves. Wont be going back to any other headsets, is a fact.

This headset is absolutely amazing! Has a very clear mic and the ear pieces are so comfy that it feels like u don’t have them on! The only down side to these are that it has a constant humming when in a party chat, it’s not loud but it loud enough to hear!

I had the standard PS4 wireless headset before this. The padding around the ears was starting to crack and flake off so it was time to look for something new. While I was hoping for something that was wireless, the quality of both the sound and the microphone on this set is well worth that trade off. The GameDAC is a pretty cool feature as well - giving you more control over different settings than you would normally have with a headset.
