I bought this on sale for $140.00 so my opinions are based on that price point. Pros: -Battery Swap Functionality -Build Quality -Audio Quality -Comfort / Fit Cons: -Batteries not truly hot swap -Sensitivity of mute button -Software These headphones are great, very comfortable for extended use. Adjust and fit well on my XXL head, reasonable weight etc. Impressed with the sound quality, use them primarily for gaming / conference calls so have not really dug into music / movie experience. Directional sound functionality is good in game environments. My gripes are fairly minor, but may be the make or break for some people. The battery charge / swap functionality was the major selling point on these for me and is an 8/10 experience. You get very little warning between a battery getting low and dying and the headphones do turn off when swapping batteries. Based on the "hot swap" verbiage I imagined there was a small extra battery in the headphones to cover power during a swap, but unfortunately this is not the case. Not a huge issue, but a small disappointment on an otherwise great system. Swapping itself is intuitive and quick and can easily be done with one hand. The software took a bit of finagling to get to work reliably, but nothing major. Unfortunately every brand has their "experience program" that you need to work through. I didn't find Steel Series to be any worse than other bloatware. The mute button on my headset is very sensitive, sometimes toggling if I just graze it with my hand. This could be an assembly or FW issue, but honestly hasn't been an issue since I use a hot key mute in gaming. Just a small "huh" in an overall positive build experience. Bottom line: excluding minor issues I am very happy with these headphones and would buy recommend / buy from steel series again.

The SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless is more than just a gaming headset — it’s an all-in-one audiophile-grade wireless audio system built with competitive gamers, streamers, and enthusiasts in mind. After extended use, I can confidently say this headset delivers on all fronts: audio quality, comfort, connectivity, and customization. Audio Quality: Precision-Tuned for Gaming and Beyond This headset offers studio-grade sound that genuinely makes a difference, whether you're in the middle of a competitive FPS, exploring open-world games, or listening to music. Dual Wireless Technology (2.4GHz lossless + Bluetooth) allows simultaneous game and mobile audio — a huge plus for multitasking or managing calls during play. Hi-Res Capable Speaker Drivers (10–40,000 Hz range) deliver clear highs, full mids, and deep, punchy bass. DTS Headphone:X v2.0 Surround Sound creates an incredibly immersive 3D audio environment. You’ll clearly hear positional audio like enemy footsteps, gunfire, and ambient cues, which gives a real competitive edge. The built-in DAC and amplifier in the base station ensure clean, powerful audio with almost no latency or distortion. Whether you're gaming or switching to Spotify, the sound is immersive, balanced, and deeply satisfying. Microphone: Clear and Broadcast-Quality The ClearCast retractable mic lives up to its reputation. It delivers studio-grade clarity and noise cancellation, cutting out background noise while keeping your voice front and center. It’s Discord-certified and ideal for both in-game chat and streaming. Sidetone and mic monitoring options are fully adjustable from the base station or software. Battery Life: Hot-Swap Perfection One of the best features of the Arctis Pro Wireless is the dual battery system. The package includes two hot-swappable lithium-ion batteries: While one charges in the base station, the other powers your headset. Each battery offers about 10 hours of use, meaning you never have to plug in the headset — just swap and go. This feature alone makes it a game-changer for streamers, marathon gamers, and remote workers who need uninterrupted use. Wireless Base Station: Control Center at Your Fingertips The OLED base station acts as a command hub: Switch between PC, PS4, and Bluetooth instantly. Adjust chat/game mix, EQ settings, mic level, sidetone, and more directly from the dial — no software required. It also charges one battery at a time and has a clean, compact footprint. Comfort and Build Quality: Long-Session Champion SteelSeries absolutely nailed comfort and durability: Ski goggle-style headband evenly distributes weight, reducing pressure points. Airweave ear cushions are soft, breathable, and designed for hours of wear with no sweat or heat build-up. The build is solid, using steel and aluminum alloy, giving it a premium feel without being too heavy. I’ve worn this headset for 8+ hours without discomfort — it’s that well-designed. Compatibility & Software: Versatile and Customizable Works with PC and PS4 out of the box (and PS5 with USB compatibility). Bluetooth allows you to connect to mobile devices simultaneously. SteelSeries Engine software gives you full control over EQ, mic, surround sound settings, and profiles — though most settings can be managed directly on the base station. Pros: Incredible sound quality with hi-res audio and DTS:X v2.0 Dual wireless: 2.4GHz lossless + Bluetooth Hot-swappable dual battery system = uninterrupted use Excellent comfort for extended gaming sessions ClearCast mic with strong noise cancellation OLED base station for easy control and charging Strong build quality with premium materials Cons: Premium price — but worth every dollar if you value quality Slight learning curve with base station/menu navigation Bulky for travel; designed more for desktop use No native Xbox support (unless used in wired mode)

The SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless headset is a game-changer! The sound quality is incredible—deep bass, clear highs, and amazing surround with DTS Headphone:X v2.0. Super comfortable for long gaming sessions, and the dual-battery system is genius—one charges while you use the other. Works flawlessly with both PS4 and PC. Wireless connection is solid with zero lag. Worth every penny if you want premium wireless audio for gaming!

I bought these on a sale and they are worth every cent and then some. Batteries last a while game of gaming non stop plus having changeable batteries is god sent, also sound quality is crystal clear plus it has multi connection so I can have them connect to my pc and phone at the same time so in between rounds, I can watch TikTok without blasting them into the mic as the audio will play through the headset with the game audio

I am probably not the typical user for this headset. Finding a good pair of comfortable over ear headphones that work great for zoom calls is very challenging. I tend to migrate from room to room with my laptop (different rooms for different calls). I was hoping that this headset would come with a wireless USB dongle but when you need true portability, you still have to rely on this headset being connected to the laptop via blue tooth. When just connected to blue tooth, the mic sounds hollow and un-professional when I speak on calls. This is probably a limitation of PC blue tooth, which is why I wish that they would have thought to make a wireless dongle. I would pay extra for it if they made it. When the external transceiver is wired directly to the laptop USB, the sound is clear and amazing. However, it is a pain to carry the transceiver from room to room. Pros: I like the fact that I can change the batteries and charge them externally. The headset is comfortable and has so many other features that work great for gaming, which I'll never use. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 for reasons listed above. Not recommending for use with conference calls.

This headset is one of the best. Better than any other headsets out there. I had all brands of gaming headsets. From PlayStation headsets, Turtle Beach, razor, hyper, Astro, and many more and they can't compete to this brand. You ask why? I'll gladly tell you. These headset has a feature that all these brands can't get right or don't have it, or it's at a premium price but still can't do it right. What you ask? It's the game audio and Bluetooth combo mix. These headphones have the perfect balance between listening to a story-rich game or playing hardcore on Battlefield 6. I can hear everything while having its Bluetooth feature on and listening YouTube, Hulu, or HBO and not disturbing my kids and definitely not missing out on some BF6 fun facts. I have used other headphones that had this feature before and guess what? They either can't get connected to my phone or my switch, or it disconnects/ static sounds with imbalanceing sounds. But these headphone I can customize the audio from both the game and my other device I am connect too. Another great feature is the charging, we all know we have to have a cord to a controller, phone and or whatever you use to charge whatever you are using. These headsets have swappable batteries so you don't have to use a cord and clear off your play area. Another thing if you wear glasses don't worry I also use glasses to and the cushion on these bad boys are glasses friendly and very comfortable, I sometimes forgot I have these thing when I'm working around my house. If you are looking for the best all-around gaming headset. These ones won't disappoint you at all. I have 2 of them. When they first released and when they re-released them at this amazing price.

These headphones are fantastic, sound is great, feel is comfortable, and the 2nd battery is amazing. I can game till it dies, hot swap the battery in 15 seconds and be back at it. I’ve owned over 12 headphones over the years and these are my favorite by far.

As an avid gamer who plays countless hours - A great headset is crucial. The steel series has never let me down since I've started using them - The Arctis Pro Wireless are an amazing choice - They are extremely comfortable and have a great EQ customization feature built in so you have your sound exactly how you want it depending on the game you're playing. The battery life is vert accurate, and a quick change of the battery if needed to keep you going. I would highly recommend any steel series headset, especially the pro wireless!

I really love the hot swap able batteries, the audio sounds great although more treble and less bass then my astro a 50 gen 4s. Durability is good other than the plastic bit that holds it all together im sure that will break over extreme sustained use but its not a huge issue. Comfort is alright overall, the headband is nice adjustable, the earpads are ok upgrade them trust me. I have owned a ton of headsets these were 140$ at the time of buying and it was well worth the purchase.

I got this headset on sale for 200 dollars off launch price. They replaced my Siberia 800s. For those who do a lot of social gaming or who don't like having to remember to charge other wireless headsets, the battery system is life-changing. The headset itself has great sound and is very comfortable as well.

Comfortable, long lasting battery, solid build and easily interchangeable batteries One issue i have but not a big deal is if nothing plays on bluetooth it “turns off” bt. Not a big problem but when sound comes thru bt makes a sound to notify and sometimes throws you off. Got it 130 off so definitely a steal!

I think this headset offers really good quality sound and the dual battery feature is really helpful. There is just no need for a cable. Just plug the base to your pc and you are all set.
