This is a wonderful controller, my only complaint is the pain I get from the heaviness of the controller when I have my phone mounted. I also feel like the mount should’ve been made a little different. It doesn’t feel secure. The pain I have is also the same with holding while laying down, since it is top heavy, I find myself gripping the controller tighter so it doesn’t dive on to my face and break my nose. My hands are used to PS5 controllers, so the Xbox style controller is not my favorite. Overall, how it syncs, charges, and clicks, one of my top five mobile controllers. Also, if Macbooks get COD Warzone, this would be a dope controller to have!

Pair this with an iPad, and it makes for a neat little gaming system. My only issue is that the buttons sometimes get sticky. But this is my 2nd Nimbus controller and I would definitely get another in the future.

Works well, with an odd design choice

So far, so good with this controller. It is super responsive and pairs quickly with your Apple TV (or, I presume, any Apple product). Previous reviews have mentioned that it charges slowly, which it does. An odd design choice: the LEDs only indicate on/off status, not battery charge level, which is weird since there are three LEDs. So you have monitor the power level of your controller through Bluetooth device settings, which is less than ideal.

Not my best purchase. Must be certain it works with games you want. Otherwise you’re throwing away money. Works decent for some games. Not compatible for most the ones I wanted to use it for.

Purchased to use with cloud gaming on my MacBook Air. Worked fine the first couple nights and now it will not stay connected over bluetooth. I have troubleshooted all of the suggestions online--- downloading a steel series app to check for updates, turning on certain specs in the settings, turning wifi-on and off again, etc. etc. and it still disconnects after 10-15 seconds and then reestablishes connection (yay) except not since I'm either playing online with other people and it disrupts the game or I get kicked to a pause menu. There seems to be no fix and upon doing more research to try and look for a work-around I found that A TON OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS SAME ISSUE AND THERE IS NO SOLUTION-- ONLY THAT I AM OUT MY $65+ I spent for this piece of junk. Save your money, buy a different controlled and do your research before purchasing because I wouldn't have bought this with what I know now.

Works fine w/ AppleTV. Continually disconnects when using on my M3 Mac. Their website doesn't even mention M3 - claims they are diligently working on M1 and M2 support ... Works fine when connected, but is basically unusable when it disconnects every 30 seconds. If you power cycle it enough times you may eventually get a good connection and be able to play. Frustrating to say the least. Claim to be working on a firmware update for macOS Sonoma to address the disconnecting issue ... no recent progress reported. Oh yeah - in order to even check for a firmware update, you have to download their "GG" app, grant it keyboard input monitoring access, and connect it via USB. And then apparently it is supposed tell you if there is an update. But it won't actually confirm you are up to date. So you have to guess if you trust that it's properly connected and checking for updates. Overall I wish I had bought a PS controller for basically the same price.
