As always with peripherals I'd recommend trying it out in store first. I returned mine but it's not a bad mouse and I'd recommend giving it a shot so read on. The reason I say beware the shape is because at first glance it appears to be a large mouse, however, it gets narrow toward the front and this gives it a much smaller feel. Another issue I had was the rubber coating. While it feels nice to the touch it will show every bit of oil from your hand even if your hands aren't sweaty. I've heard it also wears pretty heavy. The clicks are pretty nice as is the scroll wheel but the left click can sound kinda hollow when pressed near the center of the mouse. It's got a solid sensor and it's worth a try in store. I may get the plastic coated white version another time but I'm happy with my Logitech G403 for now.

It's not the best or most fully featured mouse, but it's the right size for larger hands and the coating is extremely comfortable for long hours of use. It's especially good for people who split their time with gaming and actual working.

This is a good, simple gaming mouse. I have big hands and it fits nicely in them. The light on it is programable which is a cool feature. My only complaint is that the mouse feels a little light. Besides that, it works great.

Have used another steal series mouse for a while thought I would try this one. Love the rubberized feel, works great, super responsive and the software is easy to use. Wish it had a braided cable only downside to me.

Works great, no complaints, cheaper then your average gaming mouse.

I picked up this mouse to use with my laptop as my old SteelSeries gaming mouse finally stopped working after about 5 years. I very much enjoyed my old mouse and this was a similar newer model. I have not done any hardcore gaming with it yet, but it has worked great as an everyday laptop mouse

Sensitive, precise, cute customizable LED, great ergonomics (I've large hands), feels solid, and mouse buttons that will last 30 million clicks, I've no complaints. Oh, frequent software updates show commitment by Steelcase. Would rate this 6 out of 5 stars if I could because of that. :)

the Steel Series Rival is a great mouse for gamers who are not looking to be overwhelmed by buttons but want a variety of fun options. It is smooth and doesn't lag regardless of the sensitivity setting. It has an easy to use customization menu and it has a nice overall design.

This mouse is designed to fit your hand comfortably.

If you don't play video games I wouldn't buy this mouse. It's a decent size and its for claw users unless you have really small hands. I use a QCK PLUS with this and it works out great. Must install drivers in order to change hz or dpi. The extra options in the drivers are pointless. Cord feels solid, and mouse wheel is very stable. I have been using it for 3 months and would recommend especially <60$.

After buying this mouse I became instantly better at all games. I beat John "Miller" Reynolds in a 1v1 EASILY. I suggest you try it. Thank you.

Bought this for my son for his birthday. He doesn't use it for gaming, but it has a great feel and it's the perfect weight and size.

Mouse fits and conforms nicely to my hand. Didn't need all that extra keys and buttons, so this was just right. Plus you can customize the color.

Love the rubber grips on the sides of the mouse to keep your hand from sliding around while moving. Gear style wheel allows you to roll without much pressure at all. Lighting is occasionally distracting with it's blinking/fade out.

Bought this for my son because he was complaining about his wrist hurting using his other gaming mouse. Yes, he probably games too much, but after using this mouse, I have not heard him complain. The shape of the mouse is more comfortable - not as curved as his other one.

I wanted a large wired mouse not necessarily a gaming mouse. This item fit the bill and works better and was cheaper than my last wireless mouse. I was tired of wireless mice always lagging, pausing or just plain stopping.

this mouse is impressive. Suitable for my big hand. Gaming over several hours and my hand doesn't feel uncomfortable.

I love everything about this mouse. Button placement is perfect, and most importantly it fits my larger hand with long fingers just right. I can comfortably rest my entire hand on it without my fingers feeling cramped.
