I bought these because I wanted something to work with my PC and PS4. The Steelseries website claims this product works with PC Mac and PS4 but my experience with PS4 sucked.
On the PC they sound great. There is a program you can download on PC that allows for customization of the audio through an equalizer as well as customization of the Led lights. I really like the Led feature. Its nice to look at when the headphones are just sitting on your desk. I like music with a lot of bass, so I was pleasantly suprised how good the bass was with a little tweaking. For the price you will not be disappointed by the sound on PC.
On the box it states PC and Mac compatibility but upon looking up the product on the steelseries website it did state that it also worked on PS4. No XBox 1 support. Although they technically "work" the sound is so low they are unusable. It sounds like they are at 10% volume or something, even with the settings on PS4 at Max. There is a mute button on the headset but no volume control so there was no way of increasing volume.
I contacted steelseries support and they basically said that the problem is on the Sony end....Why even make the claim that your product works for PS4 if they work so terribly with it???? I really dont want to return these because they sound good on the PC but if they can't work with both my PC and PS4 they are going back ASAP. Such a shame because these headsets really look nice and are very comfortable.

Was skeptical because it's their"entry"level headset. Boy was I shocked. Sounds is amazing and only gets better after you break it in. Extremely comfortable. No fatigue wearing for long gaming sessions. The only downside might be the mic. It's sensitive and it makes you sound
a little hollow. Totally okay for gaming. Buy it, you won't be sorry

Bought this to replace a Logitech headset my son had been using for online gaming. He seems to enjoy using it and hasn't reported any problems -- sometimes that is the best recommendation!

I purchased these headphones to replace a pair of Razer Kraken pros that had broken after a year of use, however after I received them in the mail and tried them on, I realised just how bad the sound quality was. It was worse than the earphones you get with your iphone, and felt very cheap. They are all plastic and the soundstage is horrible. The cups to not fit correctly so they are partially open towards the bottom of the ear. If you want a cheap pair of headphones to get as a backup, buy these. However, if you really want a good, quality set of headphones, I would not recommend that you buy these headphones.

These headphones look great, but the sound quality is very sub-par. It is very tin-can sounding, and the fit is not good either. It doesn't cup to your either, and rather is sits above them, leaving the bottom of the ear cup open. If you are looking for headphones around this price range, go with the Razer Krakens. Those were what I was using previously, and the difference is astronomical.
