The headset is a decent headset for the price, but keep in mind that you get what you pay for. The mic is built into the headset (does not pull out). Sound quality is alright, but id recommend spending a extra few bucks for a better headset.

I tried this headset out because of the price and it had everything i thought I needed in a headset. Unfortunately they only lasted a night because the mic picks up everything. It especially picks up everything coming out of the headset, so if you're trying to have a conversation with someone you will probably end up sending a copy of what they had said with whatever you're saying. My friends and I couldn't use it for high paced gameplay, but these would probably be fine for a normal conversation.

These headphones were purchased for my teenage son who is extremely hard on equipment. So far after a few months they have held up very well with no issues with teamspeak, etc. I believe I will purchase a pair for myself when mine are done.

This headset was made by a reputable company so I expected a passable experience from them. Unfortunately they sound worse than a $10 set of ear buds. The "Chroma" color changing was broken where the right side didn't color match the left. They sound terrible and are made of cheap materials. Stay away.

As a graduate student, I spend a lot of time with my headphones on, communicating with colleagues and classmates. I also love video gaming. These headphones fill the bill for both tasks beautifully. Fantastic sound, with a "surround" ability that makes sounds "from behind" feel realistic. Very comfortable headset, with good cushioning. They're much lighter than they look. The added "cool" factor of the lighted sides, which can be programmed to any color the wearer wants, is just a nice little perk.

Sound quality for the headphones themselves was just so poor. For as much as these cost, we would have thought they'd be a little better quality. However, if you can get past the sound issues, and want a very sensitive microphone that picks up EVERY background noise while you're in chat/vent from a quiet clock ticking on the wall (about 6 feet away), down to your cat making a noise in the other room, this is the headset for you! I however, couldn't manage to deal with it. Hopefully you'll have better luck! Happy they let me exchange it. We aren't normally fans of the Razer line, but the Razer headset we exchanged this one for was sufficient.

Bought these a few months ago for my son. They looked cool with the changing colors and sounded great but now only one side has sound.
