Due too the microphone being integrated into the earcup, it suffers from echoing badly but if you use a standalone microphone then this is the headset to buy

These are terrible quality. The sound is equivalent to dollar store headphones. It sounds distant and tinny. The microphone does not protrude from the headset and people were constantly asking me to speak up saying that they couldn't hear me. There was also a very loud, audible feedback that deafened anyone listening to me.

Expensive headphones, couldn't ever figure out how to get them to work

Pros: *Nice glowing colors *Comfortable for long duration of wearing *Good "surround-sound" effect Cons: *Noise leaks!!! - If you are in a call and watching a video, beware that everyone in the call can hear it. Overall, I am mostly pleased with the headset.

I absolutely love the sound in these, and I love the SteelSeries app that you can get to customize said sound and LED lights on the headset! Nothing could be better with these! Even comfortable and very user friendly. However, I would like to think the white casing of the headphones are quite fragile, I've learned. My cat, who is a Maine Coon, (so about 65 lbs) had jumped onto the chair where they were sitting and smashed them. Not completely, so I could still use them. But as I kept using them, I noticed the earphones sliding right off when I picked them up. So these cracks that my cat made got worse. So, a teensy bit fragile for a cat-owner, I think, but other than that? Excellent for the casual gamer.

Very cheap plastic used to make these, physically broke within 30 days of owning without any abuse to the headset. Steelseries just makes garbage products.

It is better than my other one I like the mic it easier to use and don't have to worry about breaking it

Steel Series is normally better than this representation...I was happy to see the mic on the headset wasn't an extension that moved up and down when used. It's a nub on one of the headphones. Great idea, bad implementation. The mic picks up the sound from the speaker due to the proximity and echoes everything to the point of huge annoyance to those you are gaming with. Checking online forums indicated same for others regardless of the settings. BestBuy was good enough to allow return and purchase of a different manufacturer.

I initially bought this headset because it was on sale, worked with PC, and worked with PS4. In using this headset for my PC for the past 4 months, I can say that these are very comfortable, sounds are clear and crisp, and the microphone is excellent. Definitely would recommend this for PC use. However, when I attempted to use the headset with my PS4, I got a worse experience than I expected. While the microphone still works very well, the sounds coming from the PS4 are muted - that is to say, not on par with the max volume that can be heard when it's connected to a PC. There are no volume controls on the PS4 or on the headset that makes the sound go higher than maybe half of the headset's volume capability. Although, what sound does come through is clear and crisp as with PC use.

Sound: The sound quality from the headset is top notch, It sounds better than the more expensive Siberia V3 model Comfort: The headset is also comfortable but not for extended periods of time. I do a lot of work on Youtube and Twitch and I find the longer a wear them the more the ear tightness effects me. So for people who are going to use them under a full time 7 day a week job will be getting the best quality for dollar value on the market. For those who work at their computer and plan on wearing them for 8 hour shifts, they're fine but I personally have decided to go to a more expensive version. Mic: The mic is hidden in the headset and you simply have to press a button on the left ear to turn it on and off. I find this superior to the on and off of the more expensive V3. The flaw is the sound quality is not optimal for youtube and such. For chatting during a MMO or CSGO though, it works perfectly. LEDs: I have a High End MSI laptop with the steel series keyboard, I bought this and a mouse to go with that. The LED has a whiter tint than both the keyboard and mouse so if being color coordinated was important to you as it is with my OCD this amazing headset falls off a little bit. Overall: For 40$ or even 57.99 that it was at is an amazing price for a really solid product. Steel Series have always been an impressive brand to me and although I went more expensive due to work I would highly recommend this to pretty much anyone over a Razer.

I was looking for something not quite leathery looking, more breathable. I love how the earphones feel and I dont sweat wearing them. Very nice sound. Used them for a couple weeks and still perfect for the price. The colors really dont matter as you cannot see them, while you are wearing them, but the company engine is all about customization so I turned the colors off. Have not tried the built in mic yet though. I would recommend for those annoyed by synthetic type ear covering. Allows your ears to breath and not sticky. Awesome and for the price is really nice.

I went and got some 3H Steel series ones first that were a little cheaper and ended up taking them back the very next day. I got these on sale for like 38 bucks even though it said around 44 for the sale price online. I hooked them up and downloaded the software for them and it works perfectly. Cord is plenty long enough unlike the last pair i bought and its on the Left ear piece along with the MIC The mic doesn't extract but everyone in game can hear me perfectly. Colors are awesome too. They are not tight on my head either and i have a larger head. Nice and soft. I have only used them probably 2 or 3 hours at a time with no issues at all. Great sound too. These are perfect to snag up. Highly recommend them

Has no mic. For me, a gaming headset has a mic. Besides that, it broke after a week.

This headset is great. It has really nice audio and is comfortable. The only downside to these are sometimes the headset just gets looser, like it doesn't stay the way you want it. But other than that, these are great!

Bought these to participate in online workshops. They are very comfortable and the hidden mic works very well.
