I've been through a number of "Wireless" headsets for my PS4/Xbox One. Unfortunately, most of these options required a 3.5mm audio jack in order for voice chat capabilities to work properly. I did thorough research on the Steelseries Siberia (Previously Steelseries H) and was extremely pleased I made this purchase. Pros: Design: Love the design of these headsets from the headband cushions to the button access. Comfort: Comfortable even after long gaming sessions. My ears did not ache and as other reviewers may have stated, these did not fit tightly over my larger than average head. Battery Life: The extra battery is an excellent touch that keeps your long gaming sessions from being interrupted. Surround Sound: While there aren't many presets like other headsets on the market, all existing presets served their purpose accordingly. Mic: The mic is excellent and friends mentioned they could hear me more clearly than my previous headset. The mute feature is also a great feature. Range: The wireless range on these are excellent. Running to the kitchen (20+ feet away through thick walls) to get water and still able to hear the "match starting in 3...2...1..." without any hiccups. Cons: Chat: Unable to control party chat volume and game chat volume through headset. The only way to turn the party chat volume is through the ps4 settings. Max Volume: the headset goes to a maximum volume that some may consider lower than average. Apparently this is a safety feature that does not allow the volume to exceed a decibel that may cause hearing damage. The headset may cost more than your average headset, but it is truly wireless and the sound is excellent!

    - Great quality. - Easy setup. - The dual battery pack is just unbeatable. - Reception is by far one of the bests I have experienced. - Only drawback is when setting the volume on max is pretty low compared to everything else I have tried before, I hope they fix that with some firmware or software update.

I love the convenience of a second battery as I never have to worry about charging anything. Sound is excellent, mic works great. I have a big head and it is quite snug. So, when not using it I place it on the arm of one the chairs in my man cave to keep it a little stretched for my huge noggin

Quality build but it's mostly for smaller domes like myself however it's still has a pretty strong clamping force. I didn't realize it was a closed back headset. I prefer the open style as it has a wider sound stage. This one has a narrow sound stage which I hate despite the equation option. Love that it's wireless. I will be returning these for an open back headset. Sound is first priority for me.

First of all, the headset is very comfortable with leather cover the memory foam, the padding soft and fit, doesn't like Logitech G933 which has cloth padding makes it not the ideal headset. It has two swappable batteries that are the best feature of the headset, with the swappable battery it wouldn't be wired headset like any other gaming headsets I used before when the headset run out of battery. (I don't want wired headset, that's why I need wireless headset.) Second, the headset's sound quality is the best I used so far between gaming headset, don't compare it with studio headphones, they are not for the same purpose. The console is very convenience for any kinds of sitting you need to do with the headset. The only con of this headset is the mic, even it is a $300 gaming headset, it's mic is definitely not the best in the category. The mic picks up too much background sound when you using it, a mic filter might be helpful if you want the clean chat voice. Overall, it's definitely the best wireless gaming headset out there you can get, if you have enough budget, go for it, you will like it for sure.

    Works, but could be better.

If anyone is wondering. These are the Siberia 800 Wireless headphones. It's not clear in the description but I assumed they were before ordering. These Headphones work but have a few issues. The wireless distance is something to be desired. They cut in and out about 15-20 feet away so using these to listen to music or anything while doing house work may become annoying as these cut out intermittently on you. Also, there's an audible static when there is no sound being produced from your system. I bought these to replace my Logitech G930's that also cut out every so often, usually around bluetooth signals or when the microwave is on and I'm near it. However, the Logitech G930's are more stable at 15-20 feet. The reason I wanted to replace them was because I'd prefer a headset that doesn't cut out at 30 feet while I'm being productive or cleaning my house, in addition to video gaming. So, the wireless transmitter/receiver could be better. I do love the various connection options to the headphones and ability to connect to gaming consoles. I just wish the wireless technology was better.
