Steins;Gate Elite is a visual novel. I had watched the show before but hadn't seen it in a few years. Remembering how much I enjoyed the show I picked this game up. It delivers a lot of the same story beats with a few (pretty small) differences that I won't go into. They also spend more time on explanations for things that the show condensed for, I'd assume, for time. The game clocks in at maybe around 25 hours of gameplay and there are different ends you can get based on some of the decisions you make along the way. You can alter these by navigating to past save points and making different decisions which could increase or decrease your mileage in the game. Overall it's a sweet game that hits hard with emotional story beats, but keep in mind it's a visual novel so gameplay is very light. It's more like a choose your own adventure book than a traditional game, but if you know what you're in for the story is fantastic! I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys anime and doesn't mind reading their way through a game.

This game has a crazy, fun and surprising story. The anime cutscenes add to the overall feel, and if you haven't experienced steins;gate this is a must. If you have, just know there isn't anything new if you've played it before and saw the series.

The original steins;gate is an amazing visual novel. Elite adds anime scenes. I think it's a great way to meet in the middle for people who don't like standard CGs. However, the original CG is very iconic and sadly I don't think the art style of the anime is as good. If you haven't played Steins;Gate I would probably go for the original first. However, being as this is the only version on switch I would still heavily recommend it.

Steins;Gate originated as a Visual Novel on PC years ago. It has since turned into an anime and now we can play this on the go. If you love sci-fi, anime, visual novels, this is a must have.

As a big fan of the anime this was a must purchase. I generally enjoy light novel games as well so this was an all around win!

If you are fan of the anime, this is a must buy game!

I was expecting more gameplay than reading. Branching dialogue options or something to maintain engagement. It's not bad for what it is as long as you don't expect anything more than a visual novel that apparently carries scenes over directly from the anime. So, visual novel fans and fans of the anime would probably appreciate this more. I would recommend it to a friend if they met that criteria.

The game is a visual novel. I had never played the genre previously. I will say the cutscenes looks amazing and the voice acting is good. I felt the story slow to get going and nonsensical. If you like visual novels you might like this. I however, did not care for it.

I am a big fan of the anime, so once saw this game on sale I new I had to pick it up. I am not normally a fan of light novels which is similar to reading a book, but that did not effect my overall enjoyment of the game. I would recommend this to any Steins Gate fan.

While there are other versions of this game, This one is the absolute best version with all the content you're going to see in the states. Unless you read japanese, this is the game for you to delve deeply in to the series known as Steins;Gate Elite

a great remake of a great visual novel game for the vita

The story is very much worthwhile, the game is definitely quite an experience. Not sure which I'd recommend going through first though should you choose to take on both...

I am a few hours in so far. this is my first visual novel and I do not know how I feel about it. The animated cut scenes are beautiful but this game takes to long to start.
