Movies associated with anime series are mostly one-off, non-canonical, and basically expanded filler episodes, rather than adding anything to the story. This was however a true sequel to the Steins;Gate series, and while it’s not meant for standalone viewing (seriously, too many references and inside jokes to watch without having seen the series), it does provide a wrap-up to the storyline—the ending was a bit more ambiguous in the actual show’s final episode (also a hallmark of far too many anime series). Moreover, this movie really focuses on Kurisu, and her coming to understand what Okabe had experienced, which really makes the ending that much more satisfying (hopefully that’s not too close to a spoiler). A must-add to any collection that already includes the Steins;Gate series! (Which is also a must-add to any anime collection!)

Awesome show. Have not seen the movie but loved the series. Kinda silly but still very entertaining in the beginning but gets serious and takes you for a ride. The characters are all great in my opinion. Definitely worththe watch so had to buy the movie to watch

Steins;Gate had a perfect ending. That said, I was sketpical that this film would add anything of substance to the overall anime. But it turned about to be a decent ending for what it was. I would reccommend the movie espeically if you liked the relationship that developed between Okabe and Kurisu. If you didn't care for it that much, you won't find much to your liking here honestly.

I believe this film is pivotal to view for the conclusion of the series. This Blu-ray will be my first viewing in English so I'm excited to revisit.

Pretty much an "extra chapter", this movie is worth watching if you just need to have more Steins;Gate in your life. That said, I would still recommend waiting for it to go on sale, rather than purchasing full price-while good, and a nice conclusion, I can't see myself coming back to this movie very often.

Absolutely fantastic getting to see more of these characters again!! This was a great series populated by endearing personalities and filled with equal doses of comedy and drama. The movie provides the same perfect balance, giving each character their moment in the spotlight. "Okarin" remains hysterical and heartbreaking at the same time, with quite a bit of character development happening over the 90 minute runtime. If you enjoyed the series, you must see this movie. Bluray picture looks beautiful, of course. Turn off your microwave (just to be safe) and enjoy!

One great movie. I am glad I saw it since I am a major collector and happy to add to my collection with great sound and picture.

Having watched the Steins;Gate series, I felt the immediate need to buy this movie, which concludes this amazing story! :)

This movie is a great follow up to the series. Must watch for a fan.
