I love this movie and could not find it for the longest! Happened to go on Best Buy’s website and they had it.

I absolutely LOVE this move! This movie was out when I was a kid myself and it is interesting how so many people have never seen it. Beth Midler is an amazing actress and can have you rolling in laughter as well as sobbing in tears. This movie portrays a single mom doing what's best for her daughter because that is what is most important in her life. Beth Midler plays Stella who struggles to give her daugher the very best with what little she has. It is truly a classic and very realistic when compared to the REAL world. There is strong language used, but what movie doesn't have it these days. Come on, when has Beth Midler ever failed to entertain a home audience? When comparing her best movies; Stella and Beaches are at the top of my list. You can't find this in stores...I tried!

This is an oldie of a movie for my mom. I grew up watching this movie with my mom. I bought this one for my mom, and she loves it! Its a great movie for mothers to daughters, or daughters to mothers. I highly recommend this movie!
