Johnny Winter alone was a great blues guitarist, but this compilation of songs with other great blues artists/musicians is great collection and timely considering his recent death.

A beautiful final recording from a blues legend. His voice is old, but still conveys his unique gravelly tone, and the guitar playing puts many half his age to shame.

When you listen to the power and skill that he exhibits while playing the music he loved so much; your heart aches because he is no longer with us! This CD is a must-have for true fans but also an incredible introduction to this blues giant!

Excellent CD for anyone interested in real rock and roll from a guitar virtuoso and rock pioneer. The pairing with today's best is great and the solo trading between players is perfect. An excellent CD honoring a true great.

A typical Johnny Winter CD with great selection of material and very well produced. The guests on this CD are fantastic and they are value added to this maybe one of his last recordings. The included guitar pick is a nice touch. Only improvement I could think of that could have been made is more JW blistering solos.

This is a great CD with many geast apperances including Joe Bonamassa and Leslie West. Absolute must have for the Johnny Winter fan or Blues fan alike!

I've been a Johnny Winter fan since the 70's. saw him a few times in NY. Johnny was always one of my favorite electric blues guitarists all time. I own most of his official albums and he never disappointed. This is not his best but still a very good one.

Johnny Winter's last album is a real treat. It helps that he had friends help him out only so he could provide his best foot forward in recording this release. He sounds fresh and exhibits his raw energy in his playing. Voice, guitar are in great shape.

Best music Johnny Winter has put out in the last 20 years. Great guest players also including Eric Clapton, Billy Gibbons, Joe Perry and Leslie West.

I really like this cd, it has some of my favorite players on it and Johnny might sound a little raspy, but it is about his playing and feel.

This is a excellent tribute to one of the great blues guitarist of the generation. The cd features guest appearance by a lot of best blues players around supporting Johnny Winter's last release before his passing.
