I figured this was going to be your typical love story, but I failed to see that this series was originally licensed by Media Blasters. Step Up Love Story is a charming story of two recently married invidividuals who don't really know how to please each other. Makoto often times will get lost in his own little fantasy world, imagining all sorts of perverse scenarios. Yura is sweet, beautiful, and incredibly naive. After the first episode, this one begins to turn heavily erotic. It says for 16 and older, but it's just below that border of hentai/NC-17. Originally licensed in 2002, Anime Works recovered this title a little over a year ago after Media Blasters license expired. However, it doesn't look like they retained the rights to the original English audio track. The ending credits give credit to English voice actors, but there is no English dub for this one. It's all Japanese with English subtitles. No problem here since I've never heard a good English dub of anything with sensual scenes. Definitely not for the kiddies, but it was actually enjoyable. It's quite vivid in everything it shows except for groin shots. Wasn't quite expecting this coming in; however I've got no problem with it. It was a tad annoying swapping dics for a program a little under 2 hours long.
